30 Days as a Villager (My Warmth, the Death of my Wrath, Made me into a Village) We kindly ask you to bring an object that fits in your hand as an offering for admission to this multi-day event. Three locations will house an interdimensional village, desire lines bleeding out to rivers that will connect. Autonomy creating patterns that mold meaning. Through unity and confusion we make a place. In the struggle we build our stories. The undulating echo of proximity nests houses inside of houses, dissolving into homes. Being bonded/ tribal and still living in the mountain cave. This work uses a modular format to include many artists from different backgrounds finding time and space between the fissures of their complicated lives. We will be experiencing the nomadic village in three different venues in the greater Los Angeles area. Please tune in Friday for some Oksana Linde on Kchung!! @kchungradio Friday 8/28 5pm PT - 7pm CT - 8pm ET Check out past shows on Kchung & dublab archives! (Linked above) Oksana Linde is a Venezuelan electroacoustic composer, and a descendant of Ukrainian immigrants. She studied piano and played jazz, Bossa nova, and pop before experimenting with synths. She loved recordings and was exposed to a mix of Ukrainian, Venezuelan, classical, and other music. She studied Oceanography and Chemistry for a career in the oil industry, but left that career because of memory loss and seizures caused by toxicity. Soon after, Oksana set up a sound studio in her home with synthesizers. After creating her first work Cosmos in 1982, she recorded over 30 pieces for television, radio, and theater. These were recorded on cassette tapes that continue to circulate with friends and colleagues as a living and sometimes lost archive of early experimental recordings. Oksana’s work has been largely unreleased until her debut album decades later called “Aquatic and Other Worlds” in 2022 and Travesias in 2025. Oksana’s work is inspired by nature - textures, movement, waves and tonal colors. These reflect her interests in oceanography with sound patterns that reflect immensity, floating, vast open space - a sublime made of layered electronic tones. She describes her own approach as intuitive, and almost always improvisational. She usually recorded once, without the need to change work once recorded. Narrative-like synth harmonies recall the styles and feeling of classical and Ukrainian musical motifs within a field of meditative tonal drones. Voidwave is a collaboration with @mevowo @kimzzzfff @katyaahhhh @liz__roberts__ All those beautiful designs by Melissa!

Flier by @shravansurendran 30 Days as a Villager (My Warmth, the Death of my Wrath, Made me into a Village)  Feel free to dress as your favorite animal. September 2026 We kindly ask you to bring an object that fits in your hand as an offering for admission to this multi-day event.  Each time exchanging objects along with connections. Stitching the union of three locations, we hope to see you at various days of these events so you can witness this village chatter. Elements will determine where we will be any given day of the thirty.   *This work explores aspects of resourceful art making and the belief that response to crisis and time of action can be fine-tuned and turned into expansive experience with challenging and positive results, not traumatic memories. This is an experiment in the belief that response can be festive. This is also a prayer to find a human experience that is sacred, fun, and healing, yet understanding to hold us through the darkest moments.

Excited to share this @dublab recording of Yiddish Fairytales, a trio project exploring the work of Yiddish writer Ida Maze. Over the course of an hour, we explore Maze’s “Funvanen Nemen Zikh Di Mayses,” a story of an abandoned house on a hill where fantastical encounters unfold. Big thank you to the wonderful @miriamudel for illuminating this poem for us. We use Miriam’s translation in the piece and her scholarship has been a guide in shaping our musical storytelling. Also thank you to the amazing @golden.zach for providing voiceover narration for this piece. Finally, thanks to the incredible @sadieibrahimmm who live mixed this entire recording and is an amazing DJ and person ❤️ Zither, samples, vox: @katyaahhhh Samples, vox: @chaialeh Bass, vox: @maddierusssell Full video linked in my bio.
