Yes it is happening!! Two years ago @dexterandjones did a men’s naked calendar raising money for men’s cancers… finally the women’s version is happening! This time it’ll be to raise funds for @stablemindscic_yoursafespace helping women through anxiety and menopause. This is a cause very close to my heart and we will use the funds to provide both group and individual support.
Yesterday a group of us did our shoots with the wonderful Vickie @freespiritphotography.co.uk who is doing this for free 🥲 what an Amazing woman, an amazing day and an amazing cause.
Which disco balls did I go for 🤣
Put 7th November in your diaries as the day we launch this at Dexters and it will be available to buy on our website. Yikes!!!! #naked #calendar #mentalhealth

Well… today certainly wasn’t a milestone I thought I’d be celebrating when I opened a business in Knutsford 😂

But today, we’re coming together as a community, whipping off our clothes (with some strategically placed yoga props ) all in aid of women’s mental health.

And for me personally, this one is huge. For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my body image. From being bullied about my body as a child and into adolescence, to later being diagnosed with bulimia, my relationship with my body hasn’t always been an easy one.

So to stand alongside an incredible group of women today, exactly as we are, and do something that once upon a time I could never have imagined having the confidence to do feels like a pretty big milestone.

Not because any of us need to look a certain way to be worthy of being photographed. Not because we suddenly love every inch of ourselves every single day. But because our bodies have carried us through every version of our lives and today we’re celebrating them while raising money for something that matters enormously.

This is community. This is women supporting women. And this is definitely going to be one for the Satya history books.

So… LET’S GO GIRLS!

Wish us luck! 💙

A singles night with a difference! Welcome to The Connections Club!
Myself and Knutsford’s most eligible bachelor Giles Heckstall-Smith have teamed up to create a club that’s not cringey, pressured or uncomfortable instead we will put on events that allow you to mingle til you’re no longer single!
Starting with a quiz night on Thursday 15th October from 7pm. Just head to the events section of our website www.dexterandjones.co.uk to book and drop me an email to tell me the age range you date within so we can create the teams.
