Thoughts this week (basically only Friday lmao)

Fuck the scale!
I’m one pound lighter than last week, but I can CLEARLY see that my legs and bum bum are getting bigger! LMAO

The scale is just one small tool in the arsenal of a lifestyle gym-goer and bodybuilder. Don’t let that number control your outlook on your progress!

Use your eyes. Take your measurements. Pay attention to how your clothes fit and how your body is changing. Trust the process, stay consistent, and stop letting one number dictate how you feel about all the hard work you’re putting in. We’re building something over here!

I’m starting to think my coach @babyhulk_ifbbpro is actively trying to unalive me with these workouts. 😭😂 It’s okay, old man… IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! LMAOOOO 💀🤣 It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you’re honest with yourself, embrace where you are, and reach out for support. Growth is always possible, and it’s never too late to begin. #anime #coaching #training #bodybuilding #motivation

It might surprise you what I’m actually afraid of…

It’s not failure. It’s success.

Because if I succeed beyond my wildest dreams, it means I can no longer blame circumstances, fear, or excuses. It means I’ll have to face the possibility that I spent years living below my true potential.

That scares the hell out of me.

But from now on, I’m giving it 100%. No holding back. No wondering “what if?” No leaving anything in the tank.

I’d rather find out just how far I can go than spend the rest of my life wondering what I could’ve become.

(Future) Coach Love thought of the day:
Break your addiction to food without forgetting how to enjoy life. Food is meant to fuel your body, support your goals, and be enjoyed not control your life. Learn the difference between eating to live and living to eat.

You can have discipline without misery.
You can enjoy a meal without turning it into a cheat day.
You can have balance without losing your progress.

The goal isn’t to stop enjoying food.
The goal is to stop letting food control

What keeps you from starting the gym?

Before starting gym you must understand:

1. Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 10.
Everyone starts somewhere. Focus on learning proper form, getting stronger, and improving your numbers—not competing with the person next to you.

2. Consistency beats motivation.
You won’t always feel motivated. Build a routine you can stick to—even on the days you don’t feel like going.

3. Results take time—and your mindset matters.
The gym isn’t just about changing your body. It can teach discipline, patience, confidence, and resilience. Progress may be slow, but slow progress is still progress.
