Sunday afternoon research. Hello savvy content creators! What equipment, particularly lighting, do you like the best? My iPhone 12 simply cannot capture my work, particularly when it comes to gray blending. On behalf of all fellow newbies out there, Thank You! #grayblending #albanyhairstylist #contentcreator #solanoave #nontoxicbeauty

Fun night.
Don’t need to go out again until at least December.

Hiked to my favorite spot & word vomited into my notes app. Here's the recap.

The final stretch of summer - perhaps my favorite pocket of illusionary time.

The light pumping of the breaks as we signal to turn inward. The atmospheric lens filtering light in new ways. The late summer blooms & fall harvests sharing space. The colorful display of nature's finale before shedding bare.

May we find the courage to explore what needs to be shed in ourselves.

May we all carry the energy of the beauty in the breakdown. The need to rest & the healing of stillness. Space on the calendar for yourself is a luxury. There is magic in change when you open yourself up to it.

Gray Blending ✨

I can create pretty, blended, dimensional color using your custom gray pattern! Permanent color is out, and dimensional, blended color is here to stay! Ask me about gray blending and how we can transition your permanent color into something beautiful like this ✨

New client brief
More time between root touch ups
Get me out of the 4 week loop!
A colour that suits me
Get rid of the warmth/orange tone
:
M had gone a couple of months without colouring while waiting for this appointment, which was great for me, not so much for M but she did it!
✨🙌🏼
And owned that between time knowing it was going to enhance her firs session result
:
There are many ways to grey blend grey depending on what your end goal is, you don't have to fully transition if you din't want to or are not yet ready to do so!
:
Multiple techniques used as i worked with a grey mapping system and a signature root softening blend all bespoke to M
:
Curious as how a grey softening, grey blending or a grey transformation service would benefit you and your sparkles?

Grey blending does not mean you have to go grey! You can still have mostly if not total grey coverage without permanent hair color... which always results in a harsh line of demarcation when your new growth comes in. Demi permanent is a great alternative and the growout is soft without you feeling like you have to run to the salon every 4-5 weeks!! Grey blending is completely customizable to you and your goals.

If there is one common theme to the ethereal goddess of a human that is @fairygarry , it is her infectiously warm energy that feels exactly like a perfect golden hour sun on your face after a soul fulfilling day.

What an absolute honor to be there to celebrate her with a group of women that truly all bring their own magic to the table and then some.

Things that filled our cups included but not limited to -
✔️laughter - the real belly laugh kind
✔️deep rooted love for each other
✔️10 gallons of sake
✔️grape mouth karaoke & Whitney Houston
✔️a moment in time to exist as ourselves outside of the roles we fill for others
✔️celebrating and showering love upon someone that truly deserves all of the beautiful things in life

Lucky is an understatement for how it feels to have these women in my life. ✨
