There’s something special about gathering with colleagues from across the country who all share the same passion for bringing the magic of Broadway to communities everywhere.

This week at the @broadwayleague Spring Road Conference, I had the chance to reconnect with longtime friends, make new connections, and celebrate the incredible work happening at theaters across the road.

So grateful to have experienced 9 outstanding productions this week — a powerful reminder of the artistry, creativity, and energy fueling our industry right now. The future is bright for Broadway and on the road, and I’m grateful to play a small part in helping connect audiences across America with these unforgettable experiences.

We wanted to try something casual! Singing in a studio is actually kinda boring 😅. As a professional singer and performance artist, Kayla thrives in a live setting. I am an amateur engineer and songwriter and never recorded anything in such a challenging space. I feel fortunate to get to play with one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. I’m so glad we are playing with sound together —— ‘She used to be mine’ by Sara Bareilles @kaynblue @kaylagreensings @sarabareilles #waitressmusical #audioengineering #artistontherise #sarabareilles

I was SO EXCITED to make a "Love is Blind" parody for @hello_tend, since I'm a huge fan of the show. I knew that for the concept to land, the spot had to really look like an episode of @loveisblindnetflix . Did you know that on the early seasons of the show, they shot confessional interviews on a printed backdrop that's actually a picture of the "pods" hallway? So to emulate the look, we got a 10 ft x 10 ft picture of a Tend hallway printed. We shot the "confessionals" through prisms, just like they do on the show, and the Tend hallways already looked a whole lot like the pods. This is one of those projects that was just absolutely meant for #GIRLCREW. Thanks to Tend and @quickframe for having us on! Happy Valentine's Day!

2025 was liiiike — I read books! 📕 Took lessons @kaynblue @kaylagreensings 🎶…. went to workshops @sarafaygeorge @panaceapath 🧘🏼… made ART! 🖼️ I stopped policing my feelings @carmenemmi @plainclothesmovie and felt my breath stop when @ebx_erin sang harmonies on one of my songs. I went to the heartland to mix and record with @phil_steuer. Phil also played 🎸 on my songs 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Took cool photos, my favorite of which starring @igomyakotin. I found sanity in my coffee dates and hikes with @aalovesmusic84. ———- I cared for some hilarious birds 🦜🐥🕊️——————Truly the weirdest year of my life, yet the truest and most authentic one to date. Watch out 2026!!!!!
