They are just thinly sliced fragments of magic in time and space that you get to take home with you. Moments of joy burned into digital pixelation that you can share, relive, and remember decades later. Like an old song that drops you squarely into a mood and space from a bygone era of your life. Classic moments of friends, beauty, vibe, fish, and energy that bring you back to the days that shaped your soul and remind you who you are. Some days at work are tough. Some are magical.

The trip starts with a scramble. You've got your boots half on, gear stacked on top of each other, and somebody — you know exactly who in your crew — still getting their act together at the tailgate.

By the time you're walking in together, the sound of water replacing cars, the day's already good. Nobody's caught a fish yet. Doesn't matter.

Big thanks to all my friends who hung and rode with me for my 50th. I’m not great with words but it meant a lot to me! I didn’t take too many photos because I was just trying to enjoy the day. Spent last weekend in the Catskills with the @redingtongear crew, drinking margaritas around the campfire, fishing hard, and laughing a lot with some realllll fishy people.

Somehow, after living in New York my entire life, this was my first time fishing the Delaware—and she absolutely humbled me. We only caught a few fish, but the challenge just made me want to come back even more.

I love getting to spend time with people who are just as excited about fish as I am, and I feel ridiculously lucky that this is the life I get to live. Hard-earned fish and all 🫶🏼
