Our last art gallery event took place exactly a year ago to date, which has the team feeling nostalgic for all things Cosmic Roots Collective💫

Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting the three major Atlanta Art events showcasing locally known & growing artists.

As we look forward to the (near) future towards our next three day Art festival, we can’t help but feel nostalgic & grateful for all the support we’ve received at our past shows.

Drop us some love in the comments if you’ve attended a #cosmicrootscollective show, if you’ve exhibited with us in the past be or if you’re simply excited to be here 🌇🧡💌

Follow @thecosmicrootscollective to stay tuned in to what we’ve been planning🌙📻🎵

Wait ! you didn’t think we’d enter the new year without celebrating our biggest event of all, did you?!

Chroma Dreams was our first three day art event. It was absolutely unforgettable & simultaneously a blur. We curated a gallery of artwork with over 100s pieces that intertwined with each other in way the artwork never had before. We graciously gave our stage over to singers Ahmed & Lucci#From the vibrancy of our artists to the incredible energy of everyone who attended, Chroma Dreams opened the portal for what’s to come.

We’ve been quiet here, but all in good faith ~ bigger things have been brewing behind the scenes. 2025 is for artists. By artists. & we suspect more dreamlike than we can imagine 🫧

So, consider this your invitation to stay tuned ~ because the next event is coming & we want you apart of it with us 🫀♟️💋

The Cosmic Roots Collective is an Atlanta based group of continually evolving artists connected in the center of colorful creativity🍭

Started by @creativelyflowing & @lunar.liv at the start of 2022, the Collective was born from a dream to further connect with the pulsing creativity immersed in Atlanta’s community. It has since developed into a project of connecting artists of all mediums together in a space of authentic expression, valuing the importance of color, sharing our work, and sharing ourselves.

From participating in markets on behalf of our artists, to hosting shows centered around their work, we are looking forward to brighter and bolder things in 2024🥂

Follow along as we prepare for our third & largest art exhibition happening this February. Over the course of three days!! You won’t want to miss what’s next💐

“Hill Country, TX” was the first piece and the inspiration for the Happy Place series. Each painting is reflective of a place that has brought me joy or that I mentally visit when I need peace, and the Texas hill country looms large in my happiest memories.
.
In my mind, my grandparents’ house in the hills and my cousins’ family land are interchangeable with the heart of the place. It is the sound of wind chimes on a fresh basil breeze, a Great Dane named Toska escorting my grandfather from room to room, and my Nanna’s laughter floating up from her basement studio. It’s the smell of live oaks, desert willow, and linseed oil, the sharp bite of tomatillo salsa and the headiness of Rebecca Creek on ice. It’s violet shadow and mango sunrise.
.
What a gift those hills are to me (and maybe to you too).
Details: 20x20” acrylic on canvas. SOLD!
