How lucky am I to be racing with my bestie at MTB Marathon World Championships in Italy?!?!

95km with ~4000m of climbing thru the Dolomites 😳

Excited to give it a go, even though it absolutely TERRIFIES me.

Big Sky Biggie 50 miler - 5th place overall female 😍

This was a TOUGH one but dang was it fun!!

49 miles with over 8,300 ft climbing all above 6,900ft 🥵

This was my first MTB race since early May and I was itching to get back out there! Lots of long tough climbs with ripping descents and good vibes!

I am pumped with how amazing my @laufcycles Elja handled the varied terrain both up and down! We will be back to do this one again.

The mountain biker in her natural habitat…

Observe as she spends several hours climbing an unreasonable amount of elevation…only to immediately throw herself back down the mountain at high speed.

Then, inexplicably, she climbs another one.

Scientists believe she may be part mountain goat.

*My Strava told me yesterday that my elevation gain YTD is up ~20% from this time last year! As much as I love climbing, I am not just doing this for “fun”. I received some exciting news yesterday 👀 and cannot wait to share it. But for now, I’ll continue with my ⛰️ 🐐 tendencies.

Realized I never got around to posting about winning my category @bcbikerace. They didn’t do podiums for my category so this is the best victory pic I got. It was a week of highs and lows, but definitely a fun time!
