The power of youth sports. Look at her - confident, happy and developing new friendships. She played aggressive, confident and fearless.
First tournament in the books and she came home a champion. She said "I earned this." 🥹
So proud of her for showing up, being brave, and growing more into herself with every game. ❤️💙

His time as a Future Star football player ends next weekend. Next year, he will suit up as a North Middle Patriot. I hate to see his time with Future Stars end but I am so thankful for what this team has been for us - a community, a family, a group of teammates who play unselfishly and cheer each other on, a village of parents who love and support each others kids and a group of coaches who taught our boys lessons beyond football - lessons about being a team, what it means to be loyal, who we are as Stars, the importance of getting up when we get knocked down, about picking each other up and that sports are about more than winning. Thank you coaches for all the lessons on the field that have taught them to be better people off of it. Excited for these Future Stars to be future Stars! ❤️💙

I am not okay.... I wish time would slow down, like wayyyy down. I cannot believe he is off to middle school. He was chosen by his classmates to be on student council this year. He won student of the month and came home with the Kid of Character award with a note from his teachers about how hard he works, how kind he is to his classmates, his leadership ability and how he always does the right thing. I simply could not be more proud to be his mom.

It's 🏀 fundraising season again! 😉 The kids are raising money for their summer basketball programs -registration and travel costs. They are doing the calendar fundraiser - pick a date and donate the dollar amount corresponding with that date. Ex: March 5th = $5, March 7th = $7, etc. My Venmo is @ErinChapman124 Enjoy the video (and outtakes) of Chase filmed by Annie. 🤪

|•SEVEN•| Our Annie Grace is 7! Please help me wish her the happiest of birthdays! She's quiet in public but silly at home. She loves doing cartwheels and flips off the couch. She will dribble all day and is a left handed bucket but will refuse to do any of that if anyone is watching. She's an amazing reader and often has her nose buried in a book. She loves to solve math problems and will always keep me posted at Dre and Chases games about how much they are winning (or losing) by and how many many three pointers they would need to catch up. She likes to joke, is very witty and isn't afraid to laugh at herself. She lights up my life and I am so very thankful to be her mom. 😍

Chase has an "over the top" dream of playing basketball at UCONN. She has thought through some obstacles and written down smaller goals to help her reach her big goal. She looks up to Paige Bueckers and watches her games/highlights daily. Art projects are Paige Bueckers themed (working on spelling 😉). Homework has Paige's name doodled on it. This morning, she was surprised with tickets to see UCONN play at Creighton this weekend... hoping that seeing her idol motivates her to continue working towards her goals. No dream is too big. Love that I get a front row seat to seeing her work towards a goal - no matter how out of reach it may seem. @paigebueckers @uconnwbb #bigdreams #biggoals #nodreamtoobig

Trying to hold off time before these moments become old memories. It is all going too fast. Love watching this kid play. Thankful to a friend and former neighbor for coming out and capturing these pictures!
