Thank YOU to everyone who made it out to this class, whose intentions were coming to this class, and those who constantly support me with hugs or words of encouragement throughout my choreo journey. Noticing the growth and the flowers I’ve learned to give myself throughout this process has not been super easy — but with all of you constantly showing up in different ways has made it easier. It’s a constant process to learn how to push through imposter syndrome.

Hosting this class was extremely important to me. Teaching to songs like this are extremely important to me. Having a community like this is extremely important to me. As I’m turning 28, I’m finally letting my 8-year-old self fully be happy in what she wants to do & not allowing the outside world dictate otherwise. Being bullied in grade school was something that stopped me for a while — I refuse to keep letting it write my story for me.

Fly Girls say yes… 😝

🌈✨ A little recap from @charlotteblackpride . ✨

What started as an idea came to life in such a beautiful way, and I couldn’t be more proud of these dancers.

A huge thank you to @t.orrri and @london.dae24 for sharing your creativity and choreographing pieces that we had the honor of bringing to the stage. Your vision added so much to this performance, and I’m grateful we got to showcase your work.

To @keananajee , @blu_hilaire , and @micupwithjazz —thank you for saying yes and committing to this performance on such a short timeline. Your dedication, flexibility, and energy made this possible.

And to the dancers who couldn’t make it to the stage with us this time—we felt your presence with us every step of the way. We were still so grateful to experience this moment alongside you in spirit, and we truly hope to share the stage together next time.

This performance was a reminder that when talented people come together with a shared purpose, something special happens. Here’s to creating spaces where movement, community, and self-expression can thrive.

This is only the beginning for the Soulful Sirens. 🌈💜

🌈✨ TOMORROW’S THE DAY! ✨🌈

Tomorrow, the Soulful Sirens take the stage for two performances at Werk the Rainbow and Charlotte Black Pride, and my heart is so full.

This is more than a performance for us. It’s the beginning of a vision. A chance to share what Soulfully Me Collective is all about—confidence, community, creativity, self-expression, and the freedom to move as your authentic self.

We’ve poured so much love, collaboration, and intention into these pieces, and we can’t wait to finally share them with you.

If you’ve been wanting to support local artists, celebrate Pride, connect with community, or simply experience an evening full of incredible music, dance, and joy—this is your invitation.

Come cheer us on, support all of the amazing performers, DJs, vendors, and organizers who have worked so hard to make this event happen. Let’s celebrate each other and create a night we’ll remember.

This month’s Sensual Styles was SASSY 😮‍🔥💜

We danced to Touch My Body, picked up the pace, hit the floor, played with textures, transitions, and weight changes… and these ladies COMMITTED.

Was it challenging? Absolutely.

But nobody gave up.

Everybody pushed through.
Everybody kept trying.
Everybody made it to the end.

Some of these women were dancing in heels, stepping completely outside of their comfort zones, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.

Because that’s what Sensual Styles is about.

That’s what Soulfully Me Collective is about.

Challenging ourselves.
Taking risks.
Trying something new.
Trusting our bodies.
And discovering that we’re capable of more than we thought.

Confidence isn’t built by waiting until we feel ready.

Confidence is built through action.
Through showing up.
Through pushing through the uncomfortable.
Through doing the thing anyway.

And these women did exactly that. 💜✨

To witness the growth, the commitment, and the joy in this room was beautiful.

Here’s to being a little bolder, a little sassier, and a lot more confident than when we walked in. 😮‍🔥
