10/10 recommend finding a mini-bestie who's idea of a good time includes juice boxes at the waterfall, smothering Leebs with kisses, singing along to the Grease soundtrack, tinkering, reading a good book (over and over), anything watermelon flavored, and a good comedy/rom com...and then taking her on vacation with ya 🥰 best way to enjoy the summer heat, splashing around and relaxing with this kiddo. Thanks for sharing her with us, @kiesaberlin 😘

⚓ Itinerante ⚓

Dave didn't have to give me (or anyone) the wheel as we came into NYC Harbor, but that's just the kinda guy he is.

Not sure he realized at the time just how empowering and memorable that trust and experience was going to be. Or even if I did... But I'm honestly not sure if we'd be sitting on Lindy right now if it wasn't for that trip on Itinerante and all that I learned from my pal Dave ❤️

Sundowners with these pals&pups last night 🍹🌅🍹

Loving the sunshine while it graces us with it's presence before the cold rain comes back for the next +/-10days 😶

🌍 travels 🌍 circa 2016
A few days into our euro-trip i took a little spill on Kermit. We had left Krakow in the morning and it was rainy and cold, by the time we reached the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia we were wet, cold, loaded down, and mentally already relaxing by a fire at the campsite.

We had just stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on all the essentials (including coconut liquor to add to my coffee to warm me up 😅) and needed to make it past this last little mountain before we made an early end to the day and reached our refuge.

It felt like it happened in slow-motion, just like everyone always says about accidents. I just remember sliding along on my butt (thanks leather pants) and seeing Kermie slide out in front of me, the coconut liquor shattered and spilling along the same trajectory.

That day was the first time I experienced just how wonderful & helpful it is to always have an electrical engineer by your side. Emotionally and mechanically Kermie and I would have not made it off that mountain without J. 10/10 can recommend (partnering with an engineer, not crashing your bike and smashing your coconut liquor)

We designed and built 3 custom benches, but decided to get a cozy chair for this corner. Found this secondhand beaut on ebay, just big enough for 😍+🐶

Continuing my education this winter with #lactation and #sleepeducation courses, while Leebee is working hard making sure the snuggle to study ratio is always at a good level, and proving that there is, in fact, room on my lap for a pup & laptop

Driving out to work on Lindy, so I thought I'd introduce us for anyone that's new around here 🙋‍♀️

We're Keats (🇺🇲) & Joschi (🇩🇪) and we've been building (stuff & a life) together for a little over six years now. We live in Berlin with our best girl, Leebs (🐶). 2020 was supposed to be the year we hosted our much anticipated DIY wedding, butttttt the pandemic changed those plans. So we jumped ahead on our to-do list and decided to use our savings & creative juices for a "little" boat renovation instead 😅 we're leaning as we go (in life & construction), so if you've got some pointers we're all ears 💕
