Vamos, Brasil!" - Keith Sutton

HEROES DAY: that’s a wrap.

Some days aren’t measured on a stopwatch.

Sharing the table once again with the @emersonfittipaldi legend. Catching up with @emmojrfittipaldi , who I’ve followed since his very first formula test and who’s now racing in F2. And leaving with new friends, like @keithsuttonf1 .

In between, the part that matters to a driver: a closed road, no limits, and serious machinery to push hard. The Formula Renault Barazi-Epsilon and a Manthey-prepared Porsche GT3 RS. Two different philosophies, the same demand: respect at the wheel and a right foot with no fear.

Thank you, Museu do Caramulo , for another spectacular event. Few places in the world bring together heroes, machines and road like this.

Until next time.

Win or stay first. 🦍

If you’d told 17 year old me that one day I’d give my rare Ayrton Senna book and Senninha comic to an F1 driver, I’d have thought you were insane. 🏁

Fast forward 30 years, and I find myself working in F1 with Alpine.

Pierre Gasly, the team’s main driver, and huge Senna fan ,comes into the story thanks to my now good friend Keith Sutton, Senna’s first photographer, who suggested I lend Pierre the book and comic.

So, at Monza in 2025, I did just that.

And at Barcelona testing in 2026, I told Pierre to keep them.

“They’re my gift to you and Kika.”

Kika told me they’d treasure them and pass them on to their future children.

I’m not ashamed to admit that gave me a lump in my throat. ❤️

Something I’d treasured since childhood would now become part of their family story.

In return, Pierre signed and gave me his race gloves from Silverstone.

After making the switch to Williams, it took me a while to get my hands on them. But today, I finally got to take them on track myself to see if they made me any quicker! 😂🏎️

I hope I did them justice, Pierre!

And finally, one last mention to Keith.

There’s one signed book I’ll never give away.

The one you signed for me back in 1994, when I was a kid just starting out in racing.

I’m now proud to call you my friend and always happy to see you in the paddock!

Funny where life takes you.

Some things are worth passing on. Others are worth keeping forever.

Merci, obrigada & thank you, @pierregasly @kikagomes @_guillaumelegoff & @keithsuttonf1
