🚨 ELIGIBILITY UPDATE 🚨

Indiana football’s Stephen Daley and Kellan Wyatt, along with IU basketball’s Sam Alexis, have been granted a preliminary injunction allowing them to compete while the case continues. The NCAA plans to appeal.

Per Pete Thamel: This comes as their eligibility expired from the TRO expired on Monday due to the formal hearing taking place then.

The judge still has not made a formal ruling on whether to grant the athletes an injunction in the case, as such, the athletes are still ineligible.

Per Pete Thamel of ESPN: A Indiana circuit court issued a temporary restraining order for NCAA eligibility that includes Indiana players Stephen Dailey and Kellen Wyatt “To be clear, it is the Court’s intention to place Plaintiffs in the position they were in at the end of their last college sports season.”

A formal hearing is scheduled for September 11th with an injunction having the potential to grant them eligibility for the remainder of the season.
