Day 14 #teenytinytober and teeny tiny people, wearing teeny tiny footwear.

An impromptu visit, and some serious matching game skills put out by these two.

They took home medals for 3 solid wins.

I really tried my best 😂🫣

Hello,
I'm back after over 6 years hiatus, to share the 30 day September Love Letter prompts. I shared it daily at Kelly Creates Art & Calligraphy on Facebook & sharing it here today. Hope to keep practicing in October too.

During Ukrainian Heritage Month we encourage postcard warriors to try some simple art on their postcards to Defenders of Ukraine. My Day 6 effort was to try to draw a whale after seeing a playful one off the coast of Iceland. I followed an Instagram tutorial by @kellycreates. It was a fun and easy exercise! What’s your postcard drawing today?

Another winner! Congratulations to @kellycreates you’re taking home a Caran d’Ache prize pack! 🎉 Thank you to @carandache for sponsoring this week’s prize. 🙌

Every time you head outside and make something, you’re in the running. A sunset sketch, a morning coffee with your sketchbook, a hike with your watercolours it all counts. Keep getting out there. 🎨☀️

Tag @opusartsupplies and post with #OpusArtEverywhere for your chance to win. One grand prize still waiting at the end of summer. 👀

Valentine’s Day is near, and I’ve been seeing so many lovely scoring ideas ❤️ So here’s my 🍋 scoring.

The idea came from @kellycreates and @thedoodleguide because we all have someone we tell, “you’re the zest” 🍋😍

I used @wiremonkeyshop poco and ufo lames and @rosehillsourdough wood pulp banneton and breadmat. Baked using my @krustic_crafts

It’s not always about making big behavioural modifications.. Sometimes it’s just about making the groom what’s easiest for the DOG!
Not the haircuts that Mike, Susan, Tom, or Patty think are adorable, just what’s easiest for the dog.

As the groomer you get to decide that! If you advocate for what you know is best, and your client doesn’t trust your professional opinion… Then it’s time to say goodbye! 👋🏼

Professional boundaries are important, and at the end of the day you have to feel good about the time you spent with your canine clients.

What happens in a groom is between us and the dog, and if we stick together in setting boundaries like this, then less dogs will struggle!
Which in our opinion, is the most important part of what we do. 🥰
