The best decision we’ve made for Block Digital this year?

Working with a business coach.

Over the past few months, our founder Claire has been working with @kellymolson to simplify the business, sharpen our positioning and get much clearer on where we’re going next.

A huge part of that has been refining our LinkedIn Launchpad and the journey from Posting Paralysis → Content Compass → Posting Flow → Content Clarity.

When you’re inside your own business every day, it’s incredibly easy to overcomplicate things. Having someone outside of it challenge your thinking can make all the difference.

Block Digital has never had a clearer product, proposition or direction, and Kelly has played a huge part in getting us here. 🏆

I’ve been building a business while slowly losing my dad.

For four years, this has been the backdrop to every client call, every meeting, every “no.”

I’ve lost income. I’ve lost confidence. Some of that’s on me. Some of it isn’t.

This is my story. Not for sympathy - because I owe it to myself to own the whole truth, not just the easy parts.

THANK YOU TO MY AMAZING BUSINESS COACH FOR GIVING ME THE CONFIDENCE TO SHARE THIS @kellymolson!

Where do we even begin?

Ten years. Hundreds of connections. Millions of pounds of business generated. Countless conversations started over a shared love of food, drink and the people who make it. And memories, so many wonderful memories that we will carry with us always.

The Grub Club was built on a simple belief: that the right people, gathered in the right room, around great food, can make extraordinary things happen. And happen they did.

Because of you.

Every one of you who showed up, brought your energy, introduced yourselves to a stranger, shared a card, made a call, struck a deal, or simply enjoyed an evening in great company- you are the reason the Grub Club became what it did. Not us. You.

And so it is with enormous gratitude and just a little emotion, if we’re being honest, that we write to tell you that the time has come to close this chapter.

The Grub Club is coming to an end. But the connections it created, the businesses it helped build, and the friendships it sparked? Those don’t end. Those carry on.

Before we go, we wanted to share something with you. We’ve put together a short video of just a few moments from so many over the last ten years. A small glimpse of something that meant a great deal to us, and we hope to you, too.

We hope it makes you smile.

Something Big Is Brewing in the Digital Industry…

Passionate debates, tough decisions, and a real sense that something important is being built here.

When @casmajid first approached us about partnering on the @nationaldigitalawards (NDA), it was a complete no-brainer. It aligned perfectly with our ethos at @beventspresents - Events That Matter. And NDA truly does.

Why? Because this industry needed it.

The volume and quality of nominations we have seen is nothing short of incredible. Behind every entry is a story of resilience, creativity, innovation, and people pushing boundaries in digital, often without the recognition they deserve. That’s what makes this special.

A huge thank you to all of the judges who brought their time, insight, and honest perspectives to the table today. It’s not easy narrowing down such outstanding work, but that’s exactly what makes these awards meaningful.

Now… we build.

We are beyond excited for 22.05.26 and trust me when I say, it’s going to be epic. We are bringing the full B Events experience to this one, immersive, high-energy, and unforgettable.

If you are part of the digital community, you will want to be in that room.
Don’t be the one hearing about it the next day.

Our founder is officially… knackered 😅

After a full-on judging day for the National Digital Awards, fuelled by coffee, tough decisions, and some seriously impressive entries, it’s safe to say he’s running on empty. Who knew reading through this much brilliance could be so exhausting?

From groundbreaking AI projects to standout campaigns and next-level agency work, the standard this year has been unreal. The judges have laughed, debated, questioned everything… and yes, probably aged a few years in the process.

But here’s the thing 👇
If judging day is this intense, just imagine what the night itself is going to be like…

22.05.26 is shaping up to be an absolute blockbuster.
Big energy. Big wins. And a room full of the very best in digital.

Trust us, this is not one you want to hear about after the fact. The FOMO will be very real.

Get yourself in the room.
Celebrate with the community.
Be part of something special.
