🐝 Be Fruitful and Multiply 🐝

I attended a service at Change Church DeKalb, led by Pastor Dharius Daniels, where he shared a powerful message about the deeper meaning of the biblical instruction to “be fruitful and multiply.” He reminded us that this calling goes far beyond bearing children—it speaks to the work we produce, the impact we make, and the legacy we leave in the world. Pastor Daniels explained that a tree doesn’t eat its own fruit; its purpose is to nourish others, just as our gifts and actions are meant to enrich the lives around us.

He also pointed to Jesus as the ultimate example of fruitfulness—someone whose life, teachings, and sacrifice continue to transform the world generations later. His works didn’t just bear fruit in His lifetime; they set a model of service, love, and purpose that still shapes communities today. The message encouraged me to reflect on how each of us can live in a way that produces lasting good and uplifts others.

The February 4, 2026 edition of #TheFast15 pulls a quote credited to Caleb Wilson (at UNC). It came across my desk and it clearly speaks to matters at hand across the board.

Take inventory and address accordingly.

And be encouraged today.

Today in Atlanta, @familyfoodfestatlanta is an event you want to go online and/or use the QR code for NOW so you, your families, friends, and loved ones can attend later TODAY. It’s a way to enjoy some great food dishes (bite size), enjoy some entertainment (including a performance to celebrate 50 years of hip hop), things for kids, and more.

Make sure to check out the silent auction as proceeds help support the organization’s community programming. While there in spirit this year, make sure to check out the items donated for you to bid on and lend support.

Atlanta, make sure you are THERE.
