@kelsey.mitchell9, 3x Olympic champion for @teamcanada went fast at @uci_trackcycling World championships in Shanghai last week.

And all the weeks prior, she was preparing, training, going harder and faster (and proportionally having more fun, you could say). We here @kalas.northamerica are always thrilled to help support athletes train for big events, and this one was a special one. Truly Kalas in North America.

Whether for training or racing, achieving your individual goal, that's what Kalas can help you do.

Well done Kelsey! 🚀

Yesterday was all about power ⚡️🇨🇦

Congratulations to the top 100 athletes from across Canada who earned the opportunity to compete at this year’s RBC Training Ground National Final.

It was especially great to see 10 athletes nominated through Cycling Canada at the Final. Each had participated in RBC programming through our partner velodrome associations and completed cycling-specific assessments on their journey to the National Final.

I had the opportunity to lead the Cycling Wattbike power station, where athletes completed two maximal efforts from a stationary start as we assessed seated peak power and peak cadence.

There were some impressive numbers, but one of my favourite parts of the day was the atmosphere around the testing with athletes encouraging each other, cheering through the efforts, and genuinely wanting to see each other perform well.

That’s one of the things I enjoy most about RBC Training Ground. It creates an opportunity to discover athletic potential, introduce athletes to sports they may never have considered, and see where that potential could take them.

Congratulations to all 100 athletes and especially our 10 Cycling Canada nominees. Excited to see what comes next! 🚴‍♂️⚡️
