Lompoul Desert, Senegal. A restorative moment for all of us as we walked along sand dunes, swung in hammocks after a filling meal, rode camels, and moved through a Kemetic yoga class with our very own Natasha Eck @kemeticflow. At night we were bedazzled by a starlit sky, bonfire, drumming, dance, and the beauty of a peaceful sunrise the following morning. Give thanks and praises to all who made this possible. Bless up #blabacartours.

30 years of dance Immersion!! 🎉What a blessing to come together in celebration of legacy, Blacks in dance, and this historical moment. ❤️

To be among the hearts in this room, and to witness the momentous transition ceremony of the company from Vivine Scarlett to Timea Wharton-Suri, was POWER.

Thank you Vivine and Timea for all that you pour, share, plant, and beautifully extend to the hearts of many. Thank you dance Immersion family and staff, Zahra Badua and Jillian Greyson for your brilliance and joy. Thank you artists who blessed the stage, and all those whom I hugged and held throughout the weekend. My heart is full🙏🏾. It was wonderful to be an MC for this occasion! See you again soon. ❤️

Sending a heartfelt Thank You to the amazing women who came out and shared space with @kemeticflow and I at our Wellness event @riddimfit this past weekend. It was a time of self-care, connection and community.

Taking time to intentionally rest is a form of self-care. For many of us, this may seem indulgent, selfish even but it’s not. We deserve to pour into ourself. It also makes it easier to be there for others.

This coming Sunday April 21st, @kemeticflow and I will be having a wellness pop-up event that will start with a kemetic yoga session followed by a community circle discussion about self-care. Come share space with us at @riddimfit as we focus on renewal, restoration and connection with other Black women.

We’d love to see you there.

Our Montreal SeedPool sharing zoom! A beautiful moment to catch up with brilliant, creative, and engaging artists. Not everyone is present in this image, but the Montreal group has been spiraling deeper into the work for the past year, and we could not be more proud to guide them through this process.
