Yesterday was a day I never thought I never thought I would see; but also the day I didn’t know we needed. C2 played against FAMU DRS at #BRAGG Stadium. The irony is that C2 was born in Bragg Stadium, attending games, being on the sideline with former Coach Willie Simmons and the 2023 SWAC Championship Football Team and watching the incomparable Marching 100. Well yesterday Deuce went crazy in Bragg, catching 2 TDs for 140+ YDs. You never know what to expect from the kid, but give him a chance and he’s gonna give you a performance!!! Keep Going ✌🏾 #BALLisLIFE #YouthFootball #FAMU #WeBRAGGdifferent

AAU SZN was an incredible journey for C2. Navigating many different facets of the game: defensively + offensively, communicating + leading from the front, learning + building relationships with different teammates and thru losses; understanding these are only lessons and more preparation for the next level. Well this is how he ended his season, C2 definitely setting the tone for a championship weekend. Getting it done on both ends of the floor. #ImpactTheGame #BALLisLIFE #AAUBasketball #Florida #builtdifferent😤

The time has come and Middle School football is here. C2 has been waiting to get here and he welcoming every challenge with open arms. And his response to the game is most definitely leading him on a path to discover who he is most importantly who he can become!!! This week’s lesson was: “Control What You Can Control!!!” Your attitude, effort, energy and leadership. Let the rest take care of itself. Lead from the front!!! And he did, just that! 2 TDs, 145 YDS, 7 Tackles + 2 Forced Fumbles. Impact The Game‼️

Year 1 was about finding her footing.
Year 2 was about growing into her space.
Year 3 is about owning it.
A little more focused, a lot more confident and a whole lot more INTENTIONAL.

And she’s still becoming. 🥹

Praying this year stretches her, sharpens her, opens the right doors, and reminds her that every opportunity, challenge, friendship, lesson, and “yes” is preparing her for what’s next. Cheers to bigger goals, deeper purpose, unforgettable memories, and another chapter of watching you light up the world with your joy.

Year 3 Let’s ride

** this finish line is getting a little too close for my comfort 😩**

KINGSTON ELLIS said it’s my turn NOW!!! King is a fierce competitor, an excellent communicator and a natural born leader on any platform he steps onto. Kingston returns at QB/CB + Nickel this year for Gadsden United. One of the smallest players out there on the field; but he undoubtedly carries the biggest heart. He also had an interception but it was not captured. 🎥🙆🏽‍♂️😩 But this is just the beginning to an exciting journey ahead for @kingstonellis #BALLisLIFE #9yearsold #AAUFootball #BuiltDifferent #Florida

Deuce has spent months away from the field, but you never forget your first love. Playing tackle football since he was 4 years old, this was like riding a bicycle!!! As much as he has played basketball over the last 9 months, he could not wait to return to the field. Christopher has always been and will be continue to be groomed as an impact player and a game-changer. We are just watching the beginning stages of a phenom in the making. 🏈 SZN IS BACK‼️#BALLisLIFE #StudentAthlete #YouthFootball #Florida #11yo

One of the greatest joys of parenting is watching your child evolve into the next version of themselves.
As a dual-sport athlete, Christopher is learning to adapt without shrinking, lead without overpowering, and share his light wherever he goes. We’ll always celebrate the athlete but we’ll continue to challenge the young man in the areas that matter most: accountability, community and leadership. Because the goal is bigger than the game.

A few years ago, Christopher began his journey as an Omega Little Lamplighter, and we’ve watched him slowly come out of his shell; growing in confidence, awareness and leadership.

This weekend, C2 officially graduated to his next level as a Junior Lamplighter! 🕯️💜🧡🩶

And he earned this moment. Between traveling, competing in sports, school, and staying committed to his JLL classes and activities, the schedule was NOT easy. But HE DID IT!

Thank you to our village who stepped in to assist us. It meant the world to us! God is the GREATEST!!! 🤞🏾💯
