It’s been a little quiet again…😅

And honestly? Life happened again…🤷‍♀️

The return to school, the start of nursery, the endless viruses that seem to come with them🤢🤮, and the attempt to get back to real life… except we’re still not quite back to our usual routine! And as many of you know, I’m managing this page on my own, even though I have an amazing group of mums @themothership.coach @gis_otero_ @dionise84 @sofia_iacomussi helping me with the project behind the scenes, but we’re all mums, we’re all juggling our own lives, and we’re all doing this voluntarily, driven by our passion for what we’re building together.🧡⚡️

And sometimes, life simply takes over. We need to prioritise our families, our work and ourselves, and allow ourselves to let things go for a little while. Lately, Instagram has been one of those things. 🤦‍♀️

But while things have been quiet here, a lot has been happening behind the scenes! ✨⚡️

We’re building exciting collaborations, shaping the next edition of The Real Truth About Motherhood, and preparing some things that I genuinely cannot wait to share with you.🤩

Our podcast, Through Real Conversations, is also coming back after a little two-month pause, with some very special guests — including Dina the founder of @kensingtonmums and @lucywyldecoaching , an advocate for matrescence, coach and so much more, who are also part of the wider conversations we’re building around our next event in London!

And trust me, there’s so much more to come!💃🏼👯‍♂️

We’re working towards something that goes beyond an event. Something that brings people together, opens up important conversations, and helps change the way motherhood is understood and supported.

So, if you’ve been wondering what’s happening with us… stay tuned! 💫

We’ll be sharing some exciting news, collaborations and little surprises here very soon.

And in the meantime, tell me… how has your return to routine been? Are you back in the swing of things, or are you still trying to figure it all out, like us? 😅

Romano’s, Simpsons on the Strand (19Sep26). Food: 9/10, Atmosphere: 9/10, Solo diner rating: 8/10. Plus one alert! For lunch this time I broke my own rules and dined with a date. The room is magnificent - high domed ceiling with chandeliers, opulent restored space and impeccable staff. Allergy alert! Hitherto my bad dad joke - Waiter “Do you have any allergies?”; me “yes, Aspirin!” I was surprised when the manager came back and said some of the dishes may contain aspirin and they take allergies extremely seriously. A quick google search confirmed that some farmers spray their crops with an aspirin solution! As my allergy only makes me look like I’ve been boxed in the eyes and I don’t get an anaphylactic shock I was grateful for the heads up and confirmed that I was happy with my order. I ate egg and crab on crumpet (one of my favorite all time dishes!), Steak Frites (tender with thin crunchy fries), and, for dessert I took cool waiter Ally’s recommendation and ordered the Cherry Crumble (outstanding with a delicious custard). My date ate Mushroom Vol Au Vent (wild mushrooms on a gourmet buttery pastry but a little too salty for her taste), Lemon Dover Sole (very soft, tender and tasty embellished with the delicious capers) and the Simon’s Sticky Toffee Pudding (named after me lol - pronounced a good version of the pudding). Jeremy King, well into his 70s, is a genius and a gentleman. He is behind the reopening of an institution that should never have closed in the first place. Thanks to @kensingtonmums for the reel! #tableforone #tablefortwo #foodstagram #londonrestaurants #datenight
