For those of you who didn’t attend the windup party at the museum yesterday, here is our mural!
This project started in May when we started to work with the very talented, Kent Ness. He had many great ideas and worked well with us to come up with a design that best suited the space. We decided to focus on the agricultural side of Watson by incorporating our grain elevator, a wheat field, and a combine. This project took approximately 16 hours to complete and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final outcome!
If you are still interested in making a donation towards the mural project please see Lani at the town office.

Broadway and Main just got a ✨makeover✨!

Métis artist @kentdness created an incredible mural that captures Broadway’s eclectic spirit and this year’s 🎈 Street Fair🎈theme. Shout-out to the @ranchehrlo youth for helping Kent bring the mural to life 🎨.

Sincere thanks to @westcliffproperties_ and @sherwinwilliams for their generous support in making this mural project possible. And special thanks you to Kent for his exceptional talent in capturing the essence of Broadway.

Saskatoon is a place that has weaved public art throughout its neighborhoods and business districts. Over 80 adjudicated public art pieces, an overwhelming number of privately supported murals , and uncurated street art.
Discover Saskatoon has made the investment to create three distinct artwalks for DTNYXE , Riverdale, and Broadway, celebrating all the inpiring styles.
The Art Walk self guided maps will be available on the Discover Saskatoon website in the spring of 2024. We will also be creating a public art explorer's guide in the hope of inspiring young artists to create their own public art for their school or neighborhood.

Celebrating Saskatchewan’s prairie lilies with my latest mural! Blending tradition with modernity, this piece is a tribute to our province’s natural beauty.

A heartfelt thank you to @dreamdotca @cityofsaskatoon and @dtnyxe for their continuous support of community art. Had a great time with @kentdness bringing this project to life with you!

A special shoutout to 📸 @coombs.chad for capturing its essence so beautifully.
