It’s that time! ⏰

The San Joaquin Region is hosting a Blanket 🧺 Drive, and we want your chapter to be part of it! This is a fun way to bring some friendly competition between chapters while giving back to our communities and helping those in need.

Chapters will collect blankets until November 30th, with all totals due to their Sectional Officer Team by 5 PM that day. Each team will then donate their collected blankets to shelters in their area.

We can’t wait to see you and your community give a helping hand to those in need! Winners and awards 🏆 will be announced once all totals are in! Prizes will be given to both the chapter and section with the most blankets donated!

What an incredible fair season for Garces Memorial FFA! This year, we were so proud to have 52 exhibitors represent our chapter at the Kern County Fair! From award and scholarship recipients to showmanship and market winners, our members had so much to celebrate throughout the fair.

We are so blessed to have had such a successful fair season and are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication each of our exhibitors put into their projects. Congratulations to all of our members and thank you to everyone who supported Garces Memorial FFA along the way!

Support our Garces Memorial FFA exhibitors at the Kern County Fair Junior Livestock Auction! 💚💛

Becoming a buyer means more than purchasing a quality, locally raised product, it means investing directly in our students and supporting the months of hard work, responsibility, and dedication they’ve put into their projects.

Our exhibitors have rabbits, turkeys, chickens, sheep, pigs, lambs, and goats available! 🐇🦃🐓🐑🐖

Your support helps fund their future projects and educational opportunities. Come support Garces Memorial FFA exhibitors and fill your freezer!

Introducing the 2026-2027 Garces Memorial FFA Officer Team and theme!

This year, our chapter theme is Pursue, because to pursue means to intentionally chase after something with determination, purpose, and faith. As leaders, we are called to pursue growth, pursue opportunities, pursue excellence, and most importantly, pursue God in everything we do.

As we begin this year, we are choosing to pursue the person and leaders we are called to become. We will pursue new challenges, new opportunities, and a stronger future for our chapter and the agricultural industry. Through every success and every obstacle, we will continue to move forward with faith, knowing that God has a greater plan for each of us.

Visit our chapter website to purchase our 2026-2027 Pursue theme shirts!

“Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” -Proverbs 21:21

On August 22nd, SJR held our Sectional Officer Leadership Conference in Bakersfield! 🌟

Throughout the conference, we connected with all six of our sections through a variety of engaging workshops 💼 and activities. Not only did the Sectional Officers participate in activities led by our Regional Officers, but they also had the opportunity to take part in workshops led by our State ✏️ Officers!

This conference was such a blast 💥 , and we had an amazing time meeting new faces, building connections, and creating unforgettable memories throughout the day! A huge thank you 🫶 to all of the advisors, staff, and State Officers who helped make this event possible. Another special thank you to the facilitators at the Kern Agriculture Pavilion for allowing us to use their facility and providing us with a great space for this conference!
