KERSHA (@kershabailey) says in a new talk: „I enjoy folk music, classical music, jazz, alternative r&b, you know, these are all different genres that I listen to. When it comes to me creating music, it’s not just one genre that I do. As you can hear, there’s so much I enjoy that it’s actually hard to isolate it to a genre. Sometimes it’s an infusion of different genres.“

💐 Kersha gently showcases her talents on a flower bed of tenderness and vulnerability, with her three-octave range and captivating performances. Kersha’s influences draws from a range of musicians such as; Moses Sumney, Minnie Riperton, Disney soundtracks and a selection of Orchestral Film Scores to name a few.

🔎 Talking about criticism, Kersha emphasizes: „Positive criticism is something that I’m working on. Because with compliments I get really embarrassed and shy and sometimes awkward. But I’m practicing to receive them openly because I really do appreciate the love and support. I didn’t handle negative criticism well in the past because I didn’t establish my self confidence enough. But now I’m open to criticism because I’ve learnt that everyone has a preference and opinion, and it’s about receiving what’s needed for the idea, and it not becoming personal.“

💬 Speaking about her future plans, the artist says: „I’m working on my album at the moment. It’s been a process and I actually forgot how much of a journey making an album can be especially when you’re independent, and it’s your own resources. I’m practicing and learning to just enjoy the process as much as I have moments where I’m like ‚Okay, I want to get this out now‘. I’m remembering to enjoy the process and let it be what it needs to be without perfection. In the meantime I’m sharing other songs I’ve created that isn’t from my album. See Me will be the first, and is out now.“

Kersha’s highly anticipated second album; Mantras, is set for release 2024. 🚨

@samohtmusic My Testimony

I was first introduced to your sound by my wife @kershabailey entering in the room in 2019 saying the tone, the musicality and the production is everything. she showed me the song #MovinOn and I was like this is weird but I like it and from that point that album #Exit spoke to me.
Your Exit album came at the perfect time in my life when I needed a sound to speak to my situation. The songs #pathology and #MySpace rung so true as I was learning both these lessons in my physical journey.

#IForgive from your #Clear 2020 Album helped me forgive my absent father who passed in 2022.

THANK YOU FOR WALKING IN YOUR PURPOSE

This video is a small tribute to the gift you share so beautifully, please excuse the visual I still have a way to go in recording Insta vids and editing. The audio is my true tribute and a thank you for believing THE SOURCE of all creation, when the great I AM Said your gift will make room for you, your gift is reaching (👏🏿👏🏿to the highest mountain) all the way to your UK cousins. So if you see yourself “in London Town, counting all of your pounds” #YellowDiamonds PULL UP!! It would be a pleasure to witness your talents multiple.

I’m not sure this post needs all these words but they was flowing
