I feel bold today😎
Going to a fireworks festival and getting slightly intoxicated may have something to do with it but…it can be so liberating to finally say what’s on your mind.

I didn’t like DCC.
I’m glad if you did.
But it made me either bored or mad.

Quicksilver is a seriously dangerous book that presents female bodily response as a consent. That’s not how it works, and it is often used by actual real-life rapists as an argument in court.
So NO.

ACOTAR….doesn’t have anything outrageous. And I only disliked the first book.

Silmarillion though, is more about my brother who (I’m pretty sure) tried to traumatize me when I was 11-12 and landed me this book for a “fun read”.
To no surprise, I didn’t finish it, not even close.
And he is the reason I haven’t read The Lord of the Rings yet as well.

Ok, let’s try and finish my ramblings on a positive note.
I’m convinced that I have THE best books on my TBR!
Can’t wait to start reading them🔥

Are you a #janeaustenfan ??

I adore her writing and loved most of her works (except Northanger Abbey, a gothic satire isn’t my thing I guess🤷‍♀️)
But, for some unknown to me reason, I haven’t read Emma🤯

I’m planning to fix it sometime in 2026.

BIG question: Do you classify her books as romance?

Hi Friends👋

My accent is completely lost😓
It started in Central Asia, then headed in a general direction towards British Islands.
It was never perfect, but at least I knew what I was trying to imitate.

And then, two years ago, I became close friends with this Midwestern American girl. And, slowly but surely, she ruined whatever hope I had to have a consistent accent.
