I came for strength. I found something bigger.

Many years ago, when I first joined the StrongFirst School of Strength, I had no idea how far this journey would take me. I certainly never imagined that one day I would complete the Beast Tamer Challenge, earn my StrongFirst Elite status, and have Pavel Tsatsouline himself shake my hand, congratulate me, and say a few words to me in Russian. That was a moment I’ll remember for a long time.

But looking back, I realize that the greatest things StrongFirst has given me go far beyond certifications, strength tests, and personal achievements. Over the years, I’ve met so many incredible people through StrongFirst. Strong men and women, outstanding coaches, and wonderful friends from China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and all around the world.

Some I’ve known for years. Others I’ve only just met. We come from different countries, different cultures, and sometimes we don’t even speak the same language. But somehow, we always understand each other. Because we do share a common language. The language of strength.

We train together, challenge each other, share knowledge, support one another, and celebrate each other’s achievements. Somewhere along the way, these people have become more than training partners and fellow instructors. They’ve become family.

These past few days in Korea, attending Strong Endurance with Pavel, reconnecting with old friends, and making new ones reminded me once again why I chose this profession and why I still love what I do after all these years.

Strength training is about so much more than lifting heavy weights. It’s about discipline, continuous learning, personal growth, and the people we meet along the way.

The Beast is tamed. My Elite status is renewed. But the journey is far from over.

Still learning. Still training. Still sharing. Make the world a stronger place.
