New Orleans! You helped elect Judge Stephanie Bridges in the May special election. Now we are continuing that momentum all the way to November. 💜⚖️

A lifelong New Orleanian and community leader, Judge Stephanie Bridges spent 20 years providing free legal services to this city. She brings that same commitment to the bench every day, working to make Civil District Court better for the people who walk through its doors.

We did this together. Let’s finish what we started and show up for Judge Bridges again! 🗳️

Early voting begins Monday, October 20. Election Day is November 3.

Vote Judge Stephanie Bridges, Ballot 62. New Orleans, let’s get out the vote and keep the people’s judge in Division M!

🎶 CULTURE: THE SOUND OF NEW ORLEANS🎶

NOV 21st we will be celebrating one of our city’s most influential cultural forces- New Orleans DJ culture. From legendary party nights to “going to the DJ” on Sunday, we will celebrate the DJs who have helped shape the sound, energy, and nightlife of the city and the world beyond.

Our stage will bring together some of New Orleans’ top DJs for an all-day celebration of the culture behind the turntables.

The lineup will reconnect guests with the sounds, DJs, and iconic nights that have kept New Orleans moving- past, present, and next.

I owe so much to this community of creatives, artists & humans. The conversations, the shared meals and ideals shaped me into the person I am today.

I remember dropping out of seminary disillusioned with the God and history I had been presented that didn’t reflect my lived experiences and my values.

When I first began offering a helping hand to @bmike2c I didn’t know what I believed about God or the world anymore but I believed that the work he was doing was in service to “love for neighbor” and to preserving & honoring the image of God innate in every human being.

To me Studio Be is a sanctuary and community where i have found belonging and meaning.

If you’ve never been to Studio Be you have about a month left before the doors close temporarily for an all new experience.

Studio Be exists to be celebratory of Black history & culture 24/7 365. I hope when you’ve visited you leave feeling like the person you see looking back at you in the mirror is worthy of being celebrated 💐 in my time here I’ve learned more about my own individual familial and cultural/ethnic history, the history of the city that raised me and the history of the people I call friends and family.

I’ve been inspired and challenged to think more deeply about my place in the world, about my gifts and talents and about how I’m to use them to be of service 🤲🏽🌎

I’ve been giving tours on Saturday but you can book a tour any time ⌛️
