A prayer for our K– Gr 12 students as they prepare to head back to school.

📚🙏🏾

Dear God,

As our students begin a new school year, we pray that you would go before them. Give them wisdom to navigate every circumstance and the courage to stand firm. Give them the confidence to be all that you have called them to be. May your presence remain with them through every challenge and every opportunity.

We pray that they would continue to trust you with all their little hearts and lean not on their own understanding. Bless them and keep them and your face continue to shine upon them and be gracious to them.

We pray that they would remain strong and courageous. Let them be the light.. in the classroom, on the playground, with their friends and wherever they may go. May their words, their actions and the way they love others reflect You.

Continue to watch over our precious ones as they grow, learn, be stretched, lead and shine. May they always remember that they are loved, they are covered, and they never walk alone.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen. 🙏🏾

I grew up in a Christian family, both my parents were pastors, both their parents were pastors. I grew up in church basically my whole life.

At a stage in my life, specifically my early teens, I began to be rebellious with my parents and anyone trying to guide me down the right path.

8 years ago when I was 17 I ran into the law & at that moment I knew my days of rebellion were over. During those times, I was in a constant struggle of being obedient to God and struggling to find myself with people pleasing, partying, smoking, thinking I could do everything on my own, trying to fill a void that I knew only God could fill.

My time of running away from God is over and I am now laying my life down & picking up my cross for Jesus Christ my Lord & Saviour.

I encourage everyone and anyone to die to yourself and pick up your cross daily ✝️ Jesus loves you & he died for you.

Please don’t think you’ve done to much bad things to not come to the Lord. He wants you to come to Him dirty and He’ll clean you up.

I ran away from being obedient for too long. Today marks the date that my old self has been buried & I become a new creature in Christ - Ephesians 4:24

God Bless 🙌🏾❤️

Hello 30 ❤️

Let me take my time with this one…

I am still finding the words and sending out many thank you’s - but my heart is SO full! I am so grateful to my family and friends who planned and showed up for my 30th SURPRISE birthday, along with many who shared video tributes from all over the world, and those who sent messages. Thank you all!

I am eternally and deeply grateful and humbled by the unmeasurable love and support that surrounds me. I am SO blessed!

To my beautiful mother and best friend @kimnthomas - THANK YOU! For the weeks and months spent planning this surprise, my heart is so full. I love you beyond words can express. And as someone who is very particular, I am SO impressed you managed to pull off this surprise, despite my questions all day, I really had no clue 😂. To my friends and family that supported with planning - you all go above and beyond in your support, there should be a masterclass on how you all show up in the moments that matter most. And to my grandmothers who keep me covered in prayer and have reminded me that Jesus started His ministry at the age of 30 — and that the best is yet to come, thank you for keeping me grounded and anchored in Faith and God’s promises over my life. God is still writing my story, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

I am so grateful, blessed, loved, and RICH. Thank You God! ❤️

Happy 2 years of being raised to life 🤍

Ill share the story more on my stories but to keep this short and sweet. This journey has been far from easy and perfect, but it has been fruitful.

God will use everything.

He has taken my brokenness.
He has taking my shame.
He has taken my guilt.
He has taken my anger.
He has taken my fear.
He has taken my un forgiveness.

And is using it all.

On September 27th 2018, I had my first encounter with God in Mount Carol, Illinois with @cynthiarosario

On September 27th, 2019 I had a series of sleep & brain scans for something that doctors still to this day can’t describe. I lost my faith & relied on a relationship and work to fix me.

On September 27,2021 I got baptized at my home church @kingdomhousecc

This day on September 27th 2023, I can truly say my whole life has flipped upside down for the better, and to think it’s been 3 years that I’ve been living and walking for God and him alone.

Does it get hard? Yes.
Is there days when I wonder what did I do all of this for ? Yes

But I know my paths are ordered by him. And I really only want what is from God, and what is of God.

Do I know what I’m doing … barely
Do I know where I’m going … barely

But I’ve gotten this far keeping God first, in the center of it all so truly, God’s plan

Thank you to my circle.
Thank you to my mentors.
Thank you to leaders & pastors.
