The year had come to an end. It seriously feels like a minute 😆 but looking back, there were so many wonderful things throughout. We feel so blessed & lucky so we wanna take this time to properly express our year’s lunch and our gratitude to everyone here🌷 It’s been a year of learning for us, we encountered so many new things (and challenges) that we thought we’d never face! First we got to build our central kitchen and this was an unforgettable experience. We didn’t come from a kitchen background, so we designed this based on what works for us on our nearly 2 years of cooking in the garage 🥹 we are so happy we now have this dedicated space to explore our craft, a kitchen we can call home 🏡 Where we get to explore so many things that both did and didn’t end up on our menu. And we get to do that with our kitchen team👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳 its no longer just the two of us now, its the four of us! beyond grateful to have these guys in our family 🫶🏼 And our friends too!cooking together in the kitchen, sharing ideas, definitely learnt SO MUCH from our R&D sessions together ⚡️ We participated in Bintaro Design District and this was something else!! Getting to share such a lovely energy with each other was definitely the highlight. We didn’t realize we have 800+ people over the 4 days of our open kitchen session! 💐 We also had quite a set of menus this year!! And we did that with so many lovely collaborators/friends 🌻 Massive thankyou to them for such fun times exchanging ideas (and coping with our crazy 😆) and thankyou to all of YOUUU! you keep us going and we couldn’t have done all these without you 🫶🏼 We’re now doing next year’s gameplan so we wanna hear your thoughts, which one is your favorite menu sofar? Comment below 🥪 Lastly, just a little wish to close the year. May we continue to learn, to share this beautiful energy, keeping the same drive of exploration, and may each day fills us with the same love and excitement, if not more! ✨ what an enlightening year! PS. We’re on our R&D/NY break. Will be back mid Jan! Will update you more with details 🙏🏼 #lfmhsandwich

Just wanna tell a little story here of how Timothee came to be! 🧈🤍 When we were brainstorming on our December Menu, I knew I wanted to do a “Holiday Sandwich.” Kinda like a feast you cook, a plate you eat on christmas eve, or any other dinner over the holiday season 🍾🎉 There’s a sort of roast, tangy salad, roasted veggies, jam or compote, then replace the Pomme with some Bread! 🥖 Something familiar but festive with a twist. We had so many ideas, made so many possible condiments from saffron sauce to apple compote 😆 But the protein, i knew i wanted chicken but after many roasts, we landed on chicken confit 🍗 that’s how we decided to do a french-inspired menu 💙🤍❤️ It’s not a traditional confit. More like confit-inspired because we unfortunately don’t have the luxury of time to do that 😅🥹 cut a bit of cooking time by upping the heat, all done in the oven, with a lot of thyme and rosemary that made our kitchen smell like christmas 💝 also a lot of garlic amongst other things (read 10 liters of olive oil per service 😆) because 🧄 garlic confit IS heaven ✨🤤 Ps. We’ll post a reminder tomorrow for our next open PO! Be sure not to miss it 😘 #lfmhsandwich
