POV: we’re filming a reel at the office and you walked in unannounced…

Were we prepared? No.
Did we look professional? Also, no.
Do we promise we know what we’re doing? Absolutely. 😂

Let’s see how some of our loan officers do under pressure. 🤣

The goal is to say a word to correspond to each random letter that is related to lending! Some seem more obvious than others…

Spending time with loan officers is basically scheduling your hangout around phone calls. 🤣 Every few minutes it’s, “Hang on, I have a quick call,” or, “I’ve got one coming up.” Ask their families what it’s like on vacation!

All jokes aside, they’re constantly working to help people reach one of the biggest milestones of their lives. The long hours and endless calls don’t go unnoticed. 👏🏡

🎬 If Netflix did a documentary on local lending…

It wouldn’t be about the interest rates alone. It would be about the people behind every home, every milestone, and every set of keys. Maybe with some crazy stories in between. 🫠

Who doesn’t want to see local experts helping neighbors navigate the home buying journey with confidence?

Healthy competition is important. 😌

“I found a new loan officer.”
“I found her too.”

🎙️ Pro Tip Tuesday 💫🏡

I had the recent honor of being a guest of The Community Table , along with Tracey Kirkley @Crye-Leike, Realtors, and our host Kevin Ruby with Community Mortgage for a podcast.

One of the questions was:

“What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened during a showing?”

Let’s just say I walked into a bedroom and found something I definitely wasn’t expecting. 😳

You’ll have to watch until the end for that story… and don’t miss the blooper reel because we absolutely lost it.

While the story is funny, it actually highlights an important lesson for sellers.

When your home is being shown, it’s almost always best to leave. Buyers feel more comfortable taking their time, opening doors, asking questions, and imagining themselves living there when the home is vacant.

A few simple things can make a huge difference:

✨ Make sure the home is clean and tidy
✨ Set the temperature so it’s comfortable
✨ Keep odors at bay and the home feeling fresh
✨ Turn on lights and create a welcoming atmosphere
✨ Give buyers space to experience the home

Luxury isn’t always about price point. It’s about creating an experience.

Now go watch the story… and stay for the blooper at the end. 😂

@kevinruby54 it took him a minute to get why we were laughing. 🤣😂🤣
