Into our 12th year unschooling and we are still letting go of some unnecessary stuff and leaning hard into what really matters. #unschooling #selfdirectedlearning #homeschool #lessmeansmore #lifelearning

Being an artist takes devotion. Discipline.
A practice.

It’s a lot like yoga, really.

Showing up. Repeating. Being present. Doing.

Entering the flow not by chasing it, but by practicing your way into it.

Not every painting will be a masterpiece—and that’s not really the point. The masterpiece is more often a result than a goal.

Showing up, being present, and continuing to practice is the real win.

Painting is a quiet conversation between hand and heart, and a practice of being present enough to listen.

For the second year, Terracota brought art back into the spaces of Casa Baiana. 🎨🌿

A meaningful connection to the history of this property, where art and ceramics once had a special place through the work of Leila Salum.

With artists, ceramics, music, food and plenty of good company, Casa Baiana once again hosted Terracota's opening event, celebrating the creativity and culture of Trancoso.

Thank you to all the artists, partners, friends and everyone who joined us.

Here's to keeping this tradition alive! ❤️

To be truly alive is to move through this beautiful, fleeting moment with wonder— to laugh, to love, to create, to be changed by what we encounter.

To feel. To notice. To awaken.

Simply present.

Letting my hands become a bridge between what is seen and what is felt.

Art is not only something made.
It is a way of connecting.
A meeting place between one heart and another.
A mark made by a human hand,
carrying something beyond words—
a little piece of consciousness,
a little piece of love.

And perhaps that is what it means to be here:
to experience this extraordinary life
and, for a moment,
to truly see one another.

Art speaks to hearts.
Through hands moved by consciousness itself, we become vessels for something greater—
a language beyond words, carrying the quiet message of love.

Conscious expressions, illuminated.
A playground of light and color.
As a painter, I can’t help but look at this planet in wonder.

Thank you @casabaianatrancoso for the inspiration and loving hospitality.
