I was v nervous going to this event - social anxiety, putting myself Out There about something I’m generally trying to ignore, etc etc
but I did it and I’m proud of myself. I am so inspired when I am in these rooms, the privilege to witness the pain and power of women, to belong to a shitty secret club except everyone in it is incredible.
and yes tomorrow is october 1 which means it’s time to yell on the internet about breast cancer, again 💖

The YSC Wellness Summit will always hold a special place in my heart. 🩷

It gives us a chance to step away from everyday life, heal, and reconnect with a community that truly understands. It reminds us how loved and supported we are, and sometimes helps us process things we didn’t even know we were carrying.

I had the best time with my breasties this weekend. We danced, we sang, and we expressed ourselves in every way. I’m so grateful for the people I shared it with and the memories we made together.

Thank you, YSC, for a beautiful summit and for reminding us that we’re never alone. ✨

It’s hard to now be back at home in SA and watching the destruction occuring since Wednesday, when I was there in Santa Elena in BBNP, standing with my friends and neighbors in west Texas who believe there should be No Big Bend Wall. This place, it’s people, and it’s wild lands deserve better. We have to keep showing up, speaking out, and protecting what matters. Visit @nobigbendwall to learn more and stand with us.

The Artists Against the Wall billboard will be living @theritchey for a while. We are privileged to share this collective work with our community as the fight against the wall rages on. We want it to not only reflect the struggle as it grows, shrinks, and transforms, to recognize all the animals, plants, and people who would be negatively impacted by the wall, but also to honor the strength and perseverance of those who are devoted to keeping the wall at bay. Stay tuned for more upcoming opportunities to contribute to this living work in progress. Credit goes to Josh Keenan and @therealkatiekeenan for building and moving the incredible canvas!
