What a beautiful Tuesday filled with love and aloha.... sending brothers Danny and Louis Ariola to the place they loved the most- the ocean. All the Kaua'i elements were present- the wind, a good hard rain, and some nice little bumps for the paddle out. This is what it's all about, family, friends and everyone coming together to eat, laugh, dance, and share stories. A hui hou and aloha oe beloved brothers, you will be missed 🕊️🙏🏽🌺😎🤙🏽 🏄🏽‍♂️

Cette semaine dans Waaaaves, nous partons à la rencontre d'un Hawaïen qui vient rider les vagues de Polynésie française depuis près de 30 ans 🌊🤙 — et qui aujourd'hui revient sur le fenua avec son fils pour lui faire découvrir les beautés de ces îles qu'il aime tant. 🌺👨‍👦

First time surfing proper Lowers. Mahalo to everyone who helped get me there! While I didn’t get the result I was hoping for in the event, the overall experience I had made this trip one for the books! We would love to see you all with us on this day to celebrate Danny “D” Arriola - or as his Hawaiian family knew him as- Papa 💙 This man was more of a grandfather to me than my own blood grandfathers. Gave me life lessons that speak to my soul on a daily basis. And he always believed in me even when I didn’t know what I was capable of. Thank you Papa for always showing me style and grace even in the gnarliest moments. I wish I could see footage of you surfing in your prime. Thank you to everyone coming together to make this happen💙 We love you so much Papa D. Aloha

A HUGE MAHALO to the @hoomaa_foundation and @bbbscmakaha for another epic weekend out in Makaha, for allowing us to be a part of it and all that you do! We are so honored and stoked we all actually made it- despite getting flooded out, bridges closing, three tickets changed and riders getting called out to work 😆 we are super stoked to be able to participate.
