NYABF 2026: I love seeing everyone come together to celebrate books and zines. Everyone has a voice that’s entirely their own that will speak deeply to those who connect with it and there can never be too many ways to get that work into people’s hands.

Thank you for all your support and kindness. I’m so inspired by everyone’s unique perspective and by every person dedicated to making books and zines.

This year has been a whirlwind. I never imagined I’d have a space to uplift and highlight other people’s work, and I’m so excited to do that with ToySick. Big love to this year’s Casa MishMash @masala.noir @jumbopress @x_x.editorial

Khari Johnson-Ricks is a New Jersey-based interdisciplinary artist. He received his BFA from Montclair State University and his MFA from Hunter College. Johnson-Ricks attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2025 and is a 2025 Artist2Artist Art Matters Fellow. His work is held in the library collections of The Met, the Whitney Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art.

Suminagashi: We will make a black and white Suminagashi marbled paper using Sumi Ink and Paper. we will talk about surfactants, ink grinding, and all the other materials you need to make successful Suminagashi paper.

Come see TEKKEN TEESHIRT TOURNAMENT before it closes next week, and getchu some liveplay battles in on the artist’s very own PS5 🎮

All workshops are $25 and proceeds go to materials + supplies and keepin’ PA up and runnin’ 🙇🏾‍♂️

Thank you for joining us at Jersey Art Book Fair 2026!

Over three days, we welcomed 150 local and international exhibitors alongside dozens of programs, film screenings, and performances.

A heartfelt thank you to our host, Mana Contemporary for once again opening their beautiful space to us in the heart of Journal Square; to our dedicated Fair staff, for the care and thought they brought to every part of the weekend; to our generous partners, Monira Foundation and Jersey City's Office of Cultural Affairs, whose support makes this non-profit event possible; and to our inspiring exhibitors, who showed a remarkable range of books, prints, and zines, and who truly make JAB Fair what it is.

JAB Fair 2026 marks a turning point in our vision of an art book fair: a space to build a community of artists, designers, small presses, and independent publishers who approach print as a radical form of resistance and belonging.
