I’m spending £75 a week on therapy and honestly… I’ve never felt better about being financially abused 😂

Loved this night for the closing show for @khcomedyfest last weekend 🎤✨

I had a great time performing @khcomedyfest and @queerasjoke this weekend, alongside @willow.comedy and @robbilsta. My first gig in Birmingham, in a cheesemongers and for Kate Bush. #comedy #dayinmylifevlog #kingsheath

'How to Juggle a Ferret' with @annathommy at @khcomedyfest 26-07-26 ❤️

Sunday service took a turn 😂 A preacher of the manic streets (aka PopWorld). Paint me a picture, bring a bear and don't forget to look for the light, like rhubarb...

Good luck in Edinburgh Anna!

Just your typical weekend in Kings Heath…

What a blast! Thank you so much to all the visitors, performers, dancers, comedians, venues, punters, volunteers and businesses that made the weekend just gone so magical in Kings Heath 🙌 YOU are the reason this is the best neighbourhood in Birmingham!

This was a weekend filled with joy, togetherness and silliness - the things which Kings Heath do best 😉

A huge shoutout goes to @khcomedyfest and @theheathbookshop for delivering another fantastic year of Kings Heath Comedy Fest and The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever. We’re lucky to have such passionate and wonderful people locally ❤️

We cant wait to see what next year brings, but in the meantime, keep dancing, keep laughing, and keep enjoying Kings Heath!

We did it!

The UKs first roast battle with mostly Muslim performers

Special thanks to
@saleha.masud and @khcomedyfest who helped organise the event.

Our judges
@shugufta_doescomedy
@smashbengali
And Saleha

Two of which gave us an awesome battle at the end

Our battlers:
@realslimshadi__
@mohaimenjokes
@naphcomedy
@travisarthur
@deejaykhalda
@imranhahafeez
@kashkureshi
@bobby.jethro

And our fantastic Compere who carried us through the show @jay_droch

This was an event put as part of the Kings Heath comedy festival. The first of its kind and hopefully not the last.
Thank you to all those who came out and supported.

Big shout out to our battlers, judges and host who gave it their all and brought the fire, drama and jokes.

To witness unity in the Muslim and wider comedy community is something truly special and long may it continue.

SILLY SOPPY POST INCOMING 🥹

Yesterday i had a blast at the incredible @khcomedyfest

It’s only my second time at the fest, last year i hopped on a very last min show full of nerves and jangled my way through 10 minutes of nonsense. This year I got the opportunity to be a part of @queerasjoke alongside some absolutely brilliant acts in @its_olivia_green and @genderclown and hosted by the tour de force that is @garethtellsjokes

It was such a lovely experience, only bettered by finding a massive apple in the Kings Heath Lidl (see slide 4) that i was in awe of for basically the rest of the day. Surrounded by incredible acts, queer joy and laughter is such a blessing.

Comedy can be a bit of a lonely place sometimes. The long drives, writing bits that you have no idea if they will work, forgetting to do said bits until you scrawl the word GOOCH on your hand to remind you (just me?) and the constant low level self doubt pumping through- but yesterday was completely different. I felt at home and i feel so lucky to have been welcomed into this Midlands scene so graciously. I genuinely appreciate it so so much ♥️

Ok softlad summer over now
Heres to making more jokes about cat cafes, oodies and potentially being a nun 🙏

love and light

You can always rely on @racheltheginge to bring creative chaotic shenanigans to the stage! Music, magic, lucozade.and a literal rollercoaster ride.
Great fun!

I set out to bring back a haul of the best of Kings Heath.
First up: A vegan pig's ear from @kingsheathpetcentre
Next: the middle of @lidlgb (got IDd for a garden tool)
Then finished at @acornsretail with a London mug, a wind up dog toy, and a Leo Sayer single!

A whole lot of fun with @racheltheginge and her usual mayhem!

Our last ever outing as the OG Glitter Sisters line up. In the last 2 years we have started our own individual comedy nights and festival performances.....and Glitter Sisters will carry on under @perfectlyimperfectsinglemum and @_twisted_sista, but it's goodbye from us. It's been an absolute blast, cockers!
