This summer has been one of the most fruitful and meaningful seasons of my life. 🥹🤍
I came into this summer ready to serve, but I’m leaving with a heart that has been served, strengthened, and transformed in so many ways. Every person I met, every conversation, every challenge, every laugh, and every moment of serving reminded me that God can use ordinary moments to do extraordinary things.
To every intern and staff member who shared this journey with me: thank you. Each of you taught me something new about life, faith, community, and what it truly means to serve others. You made this summer so much more special than I could have imagined. 🫶🏼
And to @onehopetulsa , thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve, grow, learn, and be a blessing to others while being blessed myself.
Forever grateful for this season and for everything God has done through it. 😇🤍

CHAPLAIN: Kimberly Sheldon

“Hi friends! My name is Kimberly, and I’m a senior Family Science/Vocational Ministry major with a Music minor. I’m so thankful to be serving as Theta’s Chaplain again this year! I rushed Theta because I found such a genuine community of women who encourage one another, point each other toward Christ, and truly feel like sisters. Getting to serve these girls has been one of the biggest blessings, and I’m excited to continue walking alongside them this year. I’m especially looking forward to seeing how God moves in our club, building deeper friendships, and helping create spaces where everyone feels known, loved, and encouraged.”

Life lately has been sweet. 🩵 Some days are harder than others but all are worth it in the end. Wouldn’t change anything. I love my job, my friends, my family and my life.

Feeling extra grateful today, that I get to carry these girls with me into senior year!!! Leading them has been the biggest blessing, so you know we had to run it back 🤪💙

Here’s a bit about her:

🎓 Major: Family Science & Vocational Ministry w/ a minor in Music
🥳Most looking forward to: “I’m excited for the new friendships waiting to be made and all the experiences OC has in store this year. I can’t wait to meet the new rushees and watch how the Lord moves through every step of this journey!”
🤩Random fun fact: “I studied abroad in Europe last fall and it completely changed my life! I’m currently in the process of writing two books—one is a collection of poetry, and the other is a children’s book that’s super close to my heart. Words are one of my favorite ways to love and encourage people!”

This trip was for the little girl that put every penny, nickel, and dime in her Paris box so that she could go to the Eiffel Tower someday. The Lords faithfulness may not look how we expect - but it is oh so good.

First half of Italy trip!! Too many thoughts and not enough words, mainly too much love. I can only simply thank God - for this experience, for these people, for everything He teaches me in any given moment. I don’t deserve the grace and blessings I receive tenfold every single day, but isn’t that what’s so beautiful about God? My heart is so very full at the moment ❤️
