Happy Birthday to my incredible wife, Kiara! You are the most thoughtful, loving, and determined woman I know.

Your heart is unmatched. You love with intention, give without hesitation, and show up for our family every single day with grace and strength. Whether it’s the small surprises you provide yearround or the way you pour into our kids with so much care, your thoughtfulness never goes unnoticed.

Thank you for being my partner, my peace, and my daily reminder of what unconditional love looks like. I’m so proud of the woman you are, and even more blessed to call you mine.

Happy Birthday, my love. You deserve the 🌍

Cypress West Houston celebrated Black History Month in true cowboy fashion with The Black Cowboy Experience at A Place for Dreamers in Needville, TX!

From horseback riding to BBQ, line dancing, roping, a petting zoo, and even archery, this event had it all!

Dressed in denim on denim, the cowboy spirit was alive and well, with families coming together to honor history, embrace culture, and create lasting memories.

The highlight was learning the history of the Black Cowboy. Black cowboys played a vital role in the American West, making up about 25% of cowboys after the Civil War. They played a crucial role in cattle drives, ranching, and taming the frontier, excelling as skilled horsemen, ranch hands, and trailblazers. Today, their contributions are celebrated through rodeos, cultural events, and historical recognition, ensuring their impact on Western history is never forgotten.

In today's episode of "things I meant to post weeks ago" Aftotech 2024✨ I had the honor to attend AND speak at @afro.tech for the time last month 🥰 I had a great conversation w/ AJ Girard about the intersection of Art + Tech...and how I think we (as in Black creatives) should be moving forward with our art.

My main takeaway—especially after the election—is that it’s time to stop playing small! Create more, consume less, put your talents out there, and truly build the world you want to see. Basically, stop bullshitting, because we’re all we’ve got. (And yes, this is me talking to myself, too!😭)

The love I received after the panel, and the conversations I had filled my cup more than you know. There are complete strangers in this world that really don't play about me and my creativity🥹

A big thank you to my community, the people who say my name in these rooms and hit me up for opportunities like this. Shoutout to the @blavity team and @beloved1906 thank you for thinking of me 🌹
