Had the opportunity to capture KICK’N Back NOLA, and it was truly such a great experience!

Seeing all the kids excited, the families coming through, and all the love and energy that filled the day really brightened my spirit. I’m so glad I was able to be there and capture so many beautiful moments.

Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day.

When a community comes together, incredible things happen ❤️

Thanks to your support, we were able to contribute 41 backpacks to KickNBack NOLA’s Back-to-School Sneaker Giveaway, helping local students start the school year with confidence!

Tier 1 sales more than tripled from last year, allowing us to make an even greater impact together.

It’s about building a village where every child feels seen, supported and encouraged. Every backpack is a reminder that an entire community is standing behind our youth.

Tier 2 is available through September 3, and All Access Passes are on sale now.

Every purchase helps support the New Orleans Film Society’s mission to celebrate independent film while investing in meaningful community partnerships like KickNBack.

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased a pass, attended an event or supported NOFS. Together, we’re creating brighter futures on screen and throughout our community.

Get your passes now at the link in our bio 🎟️

Community starts with conversations. 💙

We asked one simple question: Why are events like this important? The answers were a reminder that real impact isn’t just about the resources being shared—it’s about bringing people together, building trust, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and supported.

Every voice matters, and every connection helps strengthen our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared their perspective, and made this day so meaningful.

Good food brings people together, and access to healthy options matters. 🥪💚

At our community event with Kickin’ Back, we were able to hand out fresh Subway meals while connecting with families and reminding everyone that healthy choices can be simple, accessible, and shared.

Small moments like these help build stronger, healthier communities—one meal and one conversation at a time.

Back-to-school season is about more than school supplies—it’s about showing kids they’re supported by an entire community. ❤️👟📚

We were honored to be part of Kick N Back’s community sneaker and back-to-school drive, where families came together to help students head into the new school year with confidence. From fresh kicks to essential supplies, every donation was a reminder that small acts of generosity can make a lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, donated, and poured into the next generation. This is what community looks like, and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more moments from an incredible day.

This was one of the BEST initiatives to help our babies new shoes. This past weekend, Algiers came together for the KickN Back 2nd Annual Sneaker Giveaway, and the energy was everything. Kids walked in ready for a new school year and walked out with new kicks, new confidence, and the reminder that their community has their back.

That’s what happens when neighbors, volunteers, sponsors, and local leaders show up for the same purpose, our youth. I am happy I could play a small part in the day.

But the work isn’t done. There are still children heading into the school year without a proper pair of shoes to call their own. Help @channel91photography make sure every child gets to walk in with pride.

Donate today: KickNBack.org
Every gift equals a pair of shoes, a boost of confidence, a kid who knows their city believes in them.

Rooted in Algiers. Built for New Orleans.

We didn't just talk about showing up for New Orleans. We showed up. 🐊🎒

This past Saturday, Litigator Law was a proud sponsor of the KickNBack NOLA Back to School Sneaker Giveaway, and it was a MOVIE. Kids walked out with free sneakers thanks to KickNBack, and at the Litigator table we gave away bookbags, lunch boxes, school supplies, toys, sports balls and more, plus every family got a chance to win one of TWO $100 Visa gift cards.

Congratulations to Lynn and Jamie, our two gift card winners! 🎉

Biggest thank you to KickNBack NOLA for letting us be part of something this special. Confidence doesn't start on the first day of school. It starts in how a child walks into it, and this Saturday, hundreds of NOLA kids got ready to walk in with their heads high.

This is what community looks like. We'll be right back out here next time.
