🔥 INTERVIEW W/ OUR HEADLINER DS Will🎙️🎭 (pt.2)
16 YEARS OF BROTHERHOOD. TWO MEN. ONE SHARED HUNGER FOR SUCCESS! 👑🖤

Some connections are bigger than business. Some people aren’t just part of your network… THEY’RE PART OF YOUR JOURNEY! 💯

I’ve known DS Will for 16 YEARS, and one thing I’ve always admired about this brother is his DRIVE! 🔥
As an event host, curator, and MC, I’ve watched him continue to build, evolve, and pour his gifts into the culture. And through it all, we’ve shared something that money can’t buy… A RELENTLESS DESIRE TO WIN AND SEE EACH OTHER WIN! ✊🏽

That’s BROTHERHOOD. That’s PURPOSE. That’s what meaningful connections look like!

So it brings me tremendous joy to announce my brother DS WILL as our OFFICIAL HEADLINER for THE NEXUS MEETUP: LE NOIR MASQUERADE! 🎭🥂
And trust me… when you put two visionaries with 16 years of history in the same room, YOU BETTER BELIEVE WE’RE COOKING UP SOMETHING SPECIAL! 😂🔥

This Sunday isn’t just about dressing up and looking good. It’s about surrounding yourself with people who challenge you, inspire you, and remind you that YOUR NEXT LEVEL MAY BE ONE CONNECTION AWAY!

🎭🖤 LE NOIR MASQUERADE ANNOUNCEMENTS & MEDIA POLICY. 🎙️

To EVERYONE who has purchased a ticket, shared a post, supported the vision, or encouraged me along the way… THANK YOU! 🙏🏽You aren’t just buying tickets. You’re investing in an experience, supporting creativity, and helping us build something special right here in the Triangle! 👑 #gratitudes 🙏🏽

We have put together gift bags for everyone who purchases a ticket with a mask included. So for those who are thinking about coming but are also stuck because you need a mask, we got you covered. 🎭

Now… let’s talk about this MEDIA POLICY! 🎥👀😂

I LOVE my professional photographers & videographers, I also carry a loaded camera. 📸
But I’m forced to make a few changes because somewhere along the way, “I’m coming to capture content” became a VIP access code, while deliverables were never received. 🤦🏾‍♂️

So we’re setting some boundaries! 💯

📲 Content Creators are permitted. 💎 PLEASE SHOW UP.
📸 Professional Photographers & Videographers must be approved. ✅
🎟️ Showing up with a professional camera does NOT automatically mean complimentary admission.
🤝 If we agree on deliverables, we expect them to be delivered!

That’s it. 🥂

We’re creating an elevated experience where culture, creativity, elegance, and meaningful connections meet! And YES… there’s still room for YOU! 🥂🖤

🥂 Every great community starts with a connection!

For this behind-the-scenes conversation, I connected with the creative minds behind @introvertedballoonsllc and Lemoi Desina, founder of The Nexus Meetup and photographer behind @astp_photography , to talk about the vision behind an experience designed to bring people together in a meaningful way.

The Nexus Meetup isn’t just about showing up, exchanging business cards, and going home. It’s about creating space for entrepreneurs, creatives, and community members to connect, collaborate, support one another, and build relationships that extend beyond the room.

And we’re bringing that vision to life on October 25, 2026, from 2–6 PM at The Wright Village for Le Noir Masquerade Event! 🎭

Expect an elevated networking experience celebrating Black culture, creativity, and community, complete with live performances, vendors, catered food, photo opportunities, and more.

🎟️ Tickets are $35 through EventNoire.

The goal is bigger than one event. We’re building a community where connections matter and opportunities grow.

Come masked. Leave connected. Let’s build something together! 🖤

🔥 {Testimonial} SOMETIMES, The Connections Can Be The Version of YOURSELF You’ve Been Waiting to Rediscover. 👑 🎭🖤

Imagine walking into an event and leaving with something you didn’t even know you needed… YOUR INSPIRATION BACK. 🙌🏽That’s exactly what happened to artist Javon Lunsford. 🎤✍🏽

After attending our last Nexus Meetup, Javon was inspired to pick up his pen and START WRITING AGAIN! 🔥

Let that sink in.

One experience. One room. One spark that reignited a passion. 💫

THIS is why we do what we do.

Because sometimes the connection you need isn’t with another person… it’s with the version of YOURSELF you’ve been waiting to rediscover. 👑

And on Sunday, October 25th, we’re doing it AGAIN!

919 Day + The Busy Influencer Collective?! Yeah, this one was special! Getting to bring local creators together to celebrate @kickymatsrdu official 919 Day proclamation is exactly why I started building TBI Collective in the first place.

Good people. Dope brands. An abundance of creative energy. And a whole lot of love for the city we call home!
