Happy 12th wedding anniversary to my amazing wife, Brooklynne! Sometimes I really feel like I suckered you with that “in sickness and in health” part of the vows, sorry.

Thank you for never making me feel inadequate or less than due to my health. Thank you for all of the sleepless nights you spent researching how to heal me and praying for me to be healed. Not just last year, but in the last eight years.

Thank you for never complaining about having to do all the stuff that I would normally do but physically couldn’t. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. You made sure I never went without someone close by, meeting my most basic needs, especially for those long fall and winter months.

As much as I went through last year, I know I wasn’t really the devil‘s target. I’m so proud to be your husband, because you just kept giving him a black eye with your persistent faith and overcomer mentality. He found out that YOU are a true force to be reckoned with because you carry the Holy Spirit.

I know that THIS is going to be our most blessed year, yet! I’m believing it. My words are matching it! I will remain confident in this: we will see the goodness of the Lord. I will love you until the end of time, come what may.

Eleven years of marriage and counting! I really meant it a long time ago and I still mean it today: You’re the ONE that I want. I’ve never met someone as loving and as giving as you. Everyone who knows you knows you’re awesome. I’m truly blessed to be your husband. If I had to do it all over, I’d love you all over again. I will continue to love you for all eternity. As Christ loved the church, this husband will love his wife. You’re worth it!

Happy Resurrection Day! Happy Easter! Jesus is alive, y’all. He left an empty tomb behind, appeared to hundreds and hundreds of people who wrote down what they saw with their own eyes. Many were put to death because they would not recant their statements. They couldn’t deny the truth. Jesus was back from the dead, just as He said He would be. No one ever did it before. No one will ever do it again. He is the one true God. Proved it. He is faithful and trustworthy. He said to put your trust in Him, love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. He said to love your neighbor as yourself: feed them, clothe them, speak the Word to them. Have compassion and give them grace. Extend mercy. I’m all about it. Jesus saved me at my lowest. He left 99 and came looking for me. In His grace and strength, I’ll do what I can to point others to the Christ who saved me.

Many of you are fortunate enough to have met my wife, Brooklynne. Having spent now 15 birthdays with her, I’ve gotten to know her pretty well. If she ever finds out that you’re in need, she’s going to try to help you. If you’re hungry, she’s going to feed you. If you’re crying, she’s probably going to cry with you. If a friend or family member is hospitalized for any sort of time, you better bet she’s coming to see you. Since she became a medical provider in dermatology, even strangers get a heads up if something looks dangerous. She can spot skin cancer on someone a mile away. She’s generous with her time, talent, and treasure. More and more she stretches out of her shy comfort zone to be a blessing to others, to pray for others, and to be a leader. Her faith has skyrocketed. She’s worth celebrating every day, but since 12/31 is her birthday I think the whole world should throw a party in her honor. I hear there’s a big one in New York!

Happy birthday, babe. I love you so much! I don’t know where I’d be without you. You continue to be my rock, my better half, the love of my life, an incredible wife, woman, dog mom, future mom to our kids, daughter, sister, aunt, and more. You deserve to hold promises in your hand this year and every year. Love you, Queen!

Happy Birthday to my wife, best friend, mother of our future children, current furr-baby mom, best PA, and definitely Proverbs 31 woman. Babe, you make me so proud to be your husband. You’re so selfless, giving, honest, faithful and loving. Anyone who really knows you loves you. You light up every room. You carry the Holy Spirit so boldly. You are an overcomer and a fighter. I’m so blessed to have spent 14 of your birthdays with you. Who’s that wonderful girl? It’s Brooklynne!

Nine years of marriage. Some might say that it’s not a “milestone” achievement. It’s one of those in-between anniversaries. Still, nine is significant!

“In Scripture, the number 9 symbolizes divine completeness or conveys the meaning of finality. Christ died at hour nine of the day, or 3 p.m., to make the way of salvation open to everyone and ending His suffering.

The number 9 also represents the fruit of God's Holy Spirit, which are Faithfulness, Gentleness, Goodness, Joy, Kindness, Long-suffering, Love, Peace and Self-control (Galatians 5:22 - 23).”

This recent year in our unified life together, we’ve relied on the Lord more than any other year, yet.

We were and are still crushed by losing our furry daughter, Choxy. We’ve pressed on in faith, fighting from His victory over sickness so that our healing may be made complete. We’ve received prophecy for our future family.

With so many trials in our lives, both personal and professional, it has been our faith in God’s goodness and sovereignty that has helped us persevere.

In sickness and in health, good times and hard times, you’ve got me. I’m going to give you my best as Christ strengthens me to do so.

This ninth year, let’s allow the nine fruit to shine through our marriage like never before! Let’s pray that God closes off chapters of pain, suffering, and contention in our lives.

There is no one else that I would ever consider doing the rest of my life with than my woman, my woman, my wife. ❤️
