Six or seven years of struggling to stay consistent. Then she found LEGACY.

Four and a half months, six days a week, and she just completed her first HYROX.

Being surrounded by this community helped her truly be consistent and chase her goals.

For a long time, I measured my obedience by what I was doing for God.

Building.
Leading.
Teaching.
Serving.
Going.
Saying yes.

And those things are worship.

But lately, the Lord has been expanding my definition of what a life of worship actually looks like.

Sometimes worship looks like raising your hands in a room full of people.
And sometimes it looks like sitting by the water and doing absolutely nothing.

Sometimes it looks like preaching the Word.
And sometimes it looks like putting the laptop away and being fully present with the people in front of you.

Sometimes it looks like re-surrendering your life to Jesus.
And sometimes it looks like taking care of the body God gave you.

Sometimes it looks like pouring out.
And sometimes it looks like receiving.

I’ve spent a lot of my life asking, “God, what do You want me to build?”

But I’m learning that a life surrendered to God isn’t only about what I produce for Him.

It’s also about receiving and enjoying:

The people.
The body.
The places.
The work.
The moments that don’t accomplish anything except being fully present.

Maybe worship was never supposed to be another appointment on the calendar.

Maybe the invitation was always to offer Him the whole calendar.

The work and the rest.
The pouring out and the receiving.
The ministry and the meal.
The altar and the ordinary.

A life fully surrendered to God doesn’t have to be productive every moment to be stewardship, obedience or worship.

Enjoying the life He gave you is worship too. ✨

Our community showed up and showed out this morning for the 4th annual Kennedy kids 5k race.

Every one of our runners crushed their race today. From personal wins to age-group podiums, we couldn’t be prouder of this crew.

We’re building something special, and this is only the beginning. It’s only up from here.

Stick to the Script. 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

A love letter to the past 9 months.

What a fever dream, what a time. You at times were hardest to love but every time was my biggest growth. You kept me hidden and exposed me all at the same time. You showed me mountains and valleys in the same week. Fruits of the Spirit and alignment with the Spirit. You kept me hungry while still being full. God is so good, HE IS SO KIND. A Father that is so gentle and loves SO fiercely. That’s the God that was raised to life for me. There were countless days I gave up on people, gave up on disciplines, gave up on Him and tried to abandon all of it; all while His pursuit and commitment never changed. That’s the God I love. He ran after me when others didn’t, He walked with me to areas I was too afraid to go, He put a mirror to myself until I began to see Him. That’s the God I give my life to.

There was not a single moment from these last nine months of the Discipleship School that was easy or light; but there is not a single area in me that says it wasn’t worth it.

Finally getting around to making something to remember our time this summer in Greece, and all the moments are flooding back.

Our team who became family, so many ice cream trips, worship hours, outreaches with the drama, the most amazing young adults who loved on our kids, park nights, beach trips, Waterland, Brennen accepting Jesus and getting baptized, so much walking, "Can I have snack?" being said every 5 seconds, sight seeing London, Mediterranean sunsets, subway rides, and so many more things not documented.

Greece, you wrecked us in the most beautiful way, and we'll never be the same. Always remembering this summer as the one when we learned how to be family 😭

To our team, we miss you 🥺😩

You might be a transgenerational woman if you hold it together for everyone… but fall apart in silence.
We see both. AND YOU STILL QUALIFY. 💜

Part 3 in our series honoring the transgenerational woman.
The one who shows up, even when no one sees what it costs.
