Our newest guardian angel 🤍
To the only man who could sit next to Elvis during German class and Mother Theresa on a cross-country flight and make them both more interested in your life than theirs even just for a little..
To the wisest man, who taught us the importance of leading with kindness and being yourself-the most genuine version of it..
To the hardest working jet-setter and entrepreneur who migrated from India to eventually rack up 7 million frequent flyer miles, who knew and fluently spoke 9 languages, who had an entire documentary made about him, you truly lived a thousand full lives in your incredible 92 years on this earth.
Your heart, wisdom, and generosity touched everyone you met and your legendary legacy will forever live on in the stories you shared with us. Thank you for holding on so Kili Marie could fly to give you one first and last goodbye kiss in person. 🥹 We love you always, Grandpa Shah. 🪽
— your favorite (and only) granddaughter

#NationalWearRedDay is so much more than just a bold fashion statement. 💃🏼 Cardiovascular disease unfairly targets women and is their leading cause of death. Women have been left out of research, testing, treatment and funding. Friends of Prentice is working to close that gap. We are proud to have sponsored projects like the mHEART Study, which aims to provide practical and effective solutions to prevent heart disease after hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

This February, help us invest in healthy futures for the women in our lives. Whether it’s cardiology or the many other areas of research we fund like gynecologic oncology, mental health, health equity, diabetes, HIV, uterine and pelvic medicine, genetic biomarker research, home health care outreach, and beyond, we need you.

Our Team proudly struts their favorite #GoRed outfits as a reminder that it’s time to take action. Join us in wearing red to support women’s heart month and tag @friendsofprentice so we can reshare the love! ❤️ Take it one step further and donate now with our link in bio!

In this joyful and nostalgic season, we are called to reflect on those that are a light in our lives. ✨Often, these individuals are the keepers of our holiday traditions, the anchors of our communities, and the source of unconditional love - our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and friends. And yet, this is the very population whose health and wellbeing are often overlooked. By participating in our 100k Challenge, you’re advancing science that translates to real-world health solutions and joining an ever-growing movement to shine a light on the state of women’s healthcare. Be a light in 2025 with a gift today and help us fund the future of women’s healthcare. Thank you for your generosity, and Happy New Year from the Friends of Prentice family! 🥳

Wrapping up our #HeartHealthMonth with some of our #WearRed special features 💕 Because wearing red is so much more than just a bold fashion statement. 💃🏼 At Friends of Prentice, we’re committed to all areas of women’s health, including cardiovascular health. Our Team proudly struts their favorite #GoRed outfits as a reminder that it’s time to take action. Raising awareness of cardiovascular disease in women is the first ripple in a wave of much-needed change. 1 in 3 women currently lose their lives to cardiovascular disease and we’re here to be more than a statistic.

Join our team in continuing to wear red in support of women’s heart health and tag @friendsofprentice so we can reshare the love throughout the year! ❤️ Take it one step further and donate now with our link in bio!
