IGGY GOES GINGER - LAUNCH PARTY NOV 6

Iggy’s got a new flavour, and it’s red hot.

Iggy Ginger Beer is a 3.5% summer slammer: freshly grated ginger on the nose, a proper ginger hit up front, rounded sweetness and a gentle burn that builds with every sip. Lively, crisp and dangerously easy to drink.

And who better to front it than Melbourne’s very own Ginger Queen songbird: @killqueenie. The leading lady is taking Iggy on tour, and bringing the party home to Bodriggy with a performance Nov 6 supported by @kaitlinkeeganmusic live + @rockdjmermaid and DJ Dimmy Simpkins inbetween.

We’ll be offering cheap Iggy tins and free pours to celebrate the new froff.

Spice up your life 🔥
Iggy Ginger Beer, now pouring at Bodriggy.

With a heavy heart, we need to share some sad news.

Queenie’s show at The Sound Doctor on Friday 30 October has been cancelled. Queenie is travelling home to Lutruwita/Tasmania to celebrate the life of her cousin Lucy, who she has described as one of her biggest musical supporters, and to sing for her.
In Queenie’s own words: “Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, it means the world. Hug the ones you love extra, extra tight.”
Our thoughts are with Queenie and her family and we hope to have her back in Anglesea at some point.
If you hold a ticket, you should have already received an email. If you haven’t seen it, please check your inbox, including spam, or reach out to us directly.

Telenova and Budjerah are still going ahead as planned on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November. We can’t wait to see you there.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

🔥GIG GUIDE🔥
It’s almost as if, under some sort of magic, Melbourne’s own Queenie emerged from the feedback of a live performance somewhere of PJ Harvey’s ‘50ft Queenie’ — with all the glamour, boldness and emotional command of the song and its maker.

Also like PJ, Queenie floats effortlessly between genres with theatrical flair and vulnerable storytelling. Am I comparing the two stylistically? No. This Queen rules her own sultry-dreamy-pop-country-rock-folk-indie kingdom.
She launches her new album at @thenightcat_fitzroy this Saturday with an all star band.

Quentin Tarantino female incarnation of Nick Cave crossed with Chrissy Amphlett.
