2026 PLA King of Kilos Recap

682.5kg @92.85 BW, 434.58 DOTS

Squat: 3/3 232.5kg/512lbs
Good call, had another 2.5-5 for a true 10, but knew we should conserve energy for deadlifts.

Bench: 2/3 155kg/341lbs
Up and down throughout training, with nagging delt/trap issues, but movement really hit its groove once we got on the EliteFTS. The red must die.

Deadlift: 3/3 295/650lbs (5kg meet pr)
Really happy with how pulls showed up, 275 was heaviest in training.

First meet back after a hiatus and down a weight class. Proud of how I performed on the day and I’m excited to keep working. 700 or bust @clay_kuhlemeier @chargedbymomentum

King of Kilos meet Recap: 8/9 772.5 total(ATPR)
101.19 GL
492 Dots

Squat: 305(ATPR)
Bench: 177.5(PR Match)
Deadlift: 290(PR Match)

Definitely the hardest prep to date but it was so worth it. The goal was around 500 dots which is coming soon. It was awesome to finally break 300 keys and the 2/3 squat curse I had going on for a while. Very glad that bench showed up today especially after last week with some shoulder pain and rpe 10 172. Deadlift has always seemed to show up which is nice to see. Thanks to @clay_kuhlemeier we ended up getting 1st and breaking 100 GL points! Very thankful to have @henry.comstock and @ari_proh_training in my corner holding my stuff and getting me hype to lift under the lights. Very thankful for everyone who helped with the meet and has supported to get to where I am. There is plenty more to come in the future. Also thought it was dope to being taller than everyone for once on that podium lol.

King of the Kilos Meet Recap – @apelikeslifting

✅ 3/3 Squat
✅ 2/2 Bench
✅ 3/3 Deadlift

This prep wasn’t about chasing all-time PRs. It was about finding balance between powerlifting and life, and most importantly, enjoying the sport again.

Nine weeks out, Anakin started a new job that had him averaging nearly 20,000 steps a day. Training had to adapt, and so did our expectations. The goal became simple: show up, have fun, execute attempts, and put together a successful meet day.

One of the biggest wins came on deadlift. After missing his third deadlift at each of his previous three meets, Anakin broke the streak and locked out his final pull to finish the day strong.

Results
• Squat: 262.5 kg (578.7 lbs)
• Bench: 140 kg (308.6 lbs)
• Deadlift: 270 kg (595.2 lbs)
• Total: 672.5 kg (1,482.6 lbs)
• Bodyweight: 96 kg
• DOTS: 420

Proud of the work Anakin put in over the last 12 weeks. Through a job change, long days, and the demands of adulthood, he stayed consistent and showed up ready to compete.

@likeslifting , the goal isn’t just getting stronger, it’s continuing to like lifting. This prep was a reminder that enjoying the process matters just as much as the numbers on the platform.

On to the next one.
