Well, I wasn’t expecting to post twice in one day but I just couldn’t wait. Like Christmas morning, waiting is no fun! My ‘Spring Mandala Exchange’ package came today and here is the official unboxing! My secret person was Kim from @kim.dot.calm and JUST LOOK at these beautiful handmade gifts! A beautiful spring mandala all dressed up with bling (mirrors and pearls), chocolates, stickers, a beautiful necklace, and (not shown) some dotting items - micro-dotting rings I’ve always wanted to try. 🙂 I’m just beyond grateful and 100% blown away with the thought and care that went into this package. 🙏 Thank you so much Kim! 💖🥰 My words in the video just don’t show my excitement! Love this entire community! ❤️ #unboxing

Finally, I can post my last mandala! It was painted in August and posted to Canada in September but they had a postal strike so it was returned to me. With a lot of messing and frustration, and a huge amount of help from Kim @kim.dot.calm (you are an absolute star 😍❤️💚), it finally arrived this week with its new owner!! It is the last full mandala I've painted since being poorly but it is an incredibly special piece because it was for an incredibly special person. The dragonfly is extremely symbolic for us and yes Yoli @captivatingcreations_nc and Natasha @mandala.art.natasha it is GREEN 💚!!!😂 I am hoping it won't be too much longer before I can paint again. But in the mean time, you'll just have to put up with my shaky videos and some jewellery to keep us going 💜💜 Mandala love, brushstrokes, dragonfly art, mindfulness, health and art, handmade art, handmade jewellery, bracelets, necklaces, rings, all handmade and DM to order. #mandalaartist #mandalalove #dotpainting #healthandart #intricatemandalas

I’m so grateful to have received this utterly gorgeous mandala and Canadian care package today, courtesy of Kim @kim.dot.calm and her art exchange idea. The parcel and all the goodies inside really brightened my rainy day. We’d talked about the mandala being pastels or monochrome, as you can probably tell, that’s what I love to paint. But the realisation dawned on me that what I actually wanted was something totally Kim, that I could look at and it would remind me of my wonderful friend. The result is full of joy, colour and has a beautiful soul, just like Kim. I can’t wait to hang her on the wall and then get going on a special little gift in return. Toodle pip 😘

✨1 Month Ago ✨ I was at the glorious 'More Than Mandalas Retreat' in stunning Canmore with a group of simply exquisite souls! 💖 My time was cut short by the swift arrival of a nasty viral pneumonia 🥴 - but the whole group loved on me from afar -- dropping gifts at my hotel room door while I was stuck in quarantine! 🥰 I finally finished her! 🎉 Modified the palette & went rogue on the design --- she's a major departure from my usual style but it pushed me in ways I really needed! Despite how brief our time was together, I am still glowing from moments shared in your beautiful company - creating together & sharing in our passion for this incredible art form.💞 Thank you @loveanddots & @dotsoflovecanada for curating such a spectacular, heart-filling & magical retreat! 💭 You’re waiting for a kidney transplant. You’re tired, your body feels weaker than it used to, and you're not sure what the future holds. You wonder: Is there anything I can do now to prepare? Physically? Mentally? 💚 At this year’s PKD Summit, join us for a powerful roundtable with the team behind the Transplant Wellness Program (TWP) at the University of Calgary - and PKD patient Kim Holowatiuk, who’s walking this road herself, and has participated in the TWP study. This research-based program was designed to support people before transplant, helping them build strength, stability, and confidence - even while living with advanced kidney disease. 🧘🏽 Learn how structured movement, behaviour support, and community may help patients feel more prepared for the journey ahead.
