Stefanie Powers (@officialstefaniepowers) is best known as the glamorous Jennifer Hart from the TV series Hart to Hart, where she and Robert Wagner made solving mysteries look ever so stylish. But there’s much more to Stefanie than her Hollywood career.

A lifelong animal lover, Stefanie shared a deep commitment to wildlife conservation with actor and partner in life, William Holden. Following his death, she brought that mission to life through the William Holden Wildlife Foundation, in Kenya.

This work has taken her far beyond Hollywood, into the world of endangered species, habitat preservation, and the challenges of protecting Africa’s extraordinary wildlife.

Today we talk about her amazing journey, the legacy of William Holden, and the experiences that have made her so much more than the star audiences remember from television.

Corita Kent (@coritaartcenter) was no ordinary nun! She was an artist, educator, activist, photographer and pop-art pioneer who changed the world with her bold colors and thought-provoking messages.

Corita worked with images and phrases that transformed words into powerful statements about love, peace, hope, and social justice. Her art is joyful and sometimes even a tad rebellious.

November 7th, 2026, is Corita Day from 12-4. It is a free event for all ages, and there will be music, Bob Baker Marionettes, art making station, button making, food trucks, etc. Sign up through the link in their Insta bio! SCI-Arc - 350 Merrick St, LA, CA 90013.

Also, go visit the Corita Art Center, downtown LA, for a tour or a take a class! I did button making with my friend Denise, and it was a blast!

The stacked boxes you see in the video behind Nicholas (also an open view at end of video), are art kits they make to give away to kids in need, people with anxiety, covid and fire victims, etc. They do such good work; Corita Kent would be so proud!

I’m so happy to help celebrate this amazing woman (and team) who was deeply spiritual and beautifully unconventional. I’ve been a fan for a long time! Thanks for talking to me Nicholas! Loved our chat!

What brings Mark Mothersbaugh (@markmothersbaugh) the most joy? One of my all-time favorite answers to my favorite question... beautiful and deeply personal!
And... the award for most unique interview location goes to… Mark M., who suggested the bathroom stall in his art gallery (@mutmuzgallery). This unplanned interview was perfect, except for the bathroom traffic, but I love it.

In case you don’t know Mark, he’s co-founder of DEVO, a musician, composer, visual artist and so much more. Devo challenged rock music with a unique sound and “de-evolution” philosophy. Have you seen their documentary? IT IS A MUST!

Biggest thanks to Mark, Beatie and Anita, Ed Marshall for inviting us to the party and the encouragement, and my Greg for knowing Ed.

Joel-Peter Witkin is one of the most unmistakable photographers of our time. His haunting and carefully constructed images are somewhere between beauty and horror, and they make us look everything in a totally different way. His work is in major museum collections and has been exhibited around the world.

Witkin often draws on religion, mythology, classical art, morality and the human condition. He photographs people society has traditionally viewed as different or marginalized, finding beauty and humanity in places many of us might never think to look.

I filmed this conversation at his Los Angeles exhibition at Fahey/Klein Gallery, where a large collection of his extraordinary photographs were being shown. Thank you @davidfahey48 for always bringing such fantastic art to Los Angeles!

Joel-Peter Witkin has a very unusual way of seeing the world—and that may be exactly what makes him one of the most singular artists working in photography today.

Margaret O’Brien was three when she began working in Hollywood, by six she was MGM’s biggest young star of the Golden Age. Her performance as Tootie in Meet Me in St. Louis even earned her a special Academy Juvenile Award.

She worked with some of the biggest stars including Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney, Janet Leigh, Edward G. Robinson and Charles Laughton. She starred so many films, including The Secret Garden, Little Women, Jane Eyre, Our Vines Have Tender Grapes and The Canterville Ghost.

Today, she continues working in TV and film and even performs on radio programs including live recreations of classic radio dramas, just like she did as a young girl.

She continues to share her fascinating memories of Hollywood’s Golden Age—and boy does she have some good ones! I did another interview with her a year ago on Tell Me Tell Me, so scroll down to learn more about her life in Hollywood. Please share and show her some Old Hollywood Love, she deserves it!

Norwood Fisher (@woodywoodstraw) is the bassist and founding member of Fishbone, the highly original LA band that blurred the lines between punk, funk, ska, reggae, soul + rock. Fishbone is one of the most influential—and impossible-to-categorize—bands to come out of the L.A. music scene in the 80’s.

After more than four decades with the band, Norwood left Fishbone in 2023 and has entered a new chapter: he’s creating new music, developing his own record label, working on the Watts Conservatory of Music, playing with his funk collective Trulio Disgracias... oh, and surfing regularly! All things that inspire love...

Thanks for talking to me Norwood!

What a thrill to introduce @micky_dolenz last night at the historic @theunitedtheater and on the 60th anniversary of @themonkees TV show. And then hangin’ with this crew of cool cats all night.

Micky truly represents something increasingly rare: a living, working connection to the moment when rock ’n’ roll, television and youth culture collided and changed popular culture forever. For 60 years, the MONKEES have been woven into the soundtrack of American pop culture. Generations have fallen in love with those songs and passed them along to the next. Micky is still out there carrying the torch for Davy, Peter and Mike. That’s not nostalgia. That’s a legacy. And what an honor it was to introduce him.

Truly a special night being with the people I adore -listening to the music we love - dancing in our seats - and on my best pal’s birthday too @kimberlybiehl of @tellmetellmestories. Also congrats to my talented friend @marklondonart on creating such a phenomenal tour book. (Proud to own 2 of them) And always wonderful to see you @donnadolenz and great to finally meet you @edgarwright (see his Sparks documentary “The Sparks Brothers”)

Thank you again Micky & @gemma.dolenz and your incredible band for having me start out the night. I hope you know how much joy you all give the world. You guys crushed it once again.

Truly the soundtrack of our lives.

Thank you @kimberlybiehl for this amazing first photo. What a keeper.

Anson Williams (@realansonwilliams) is probably best known as Potsie on Happy Days, but there is so much more to his story...

Anson was part of one of TV’s most iconic casts, alongside Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Donnie Most and the rest of the Happy Days family. But, as Anson explains, he was also learning the business behind the camera thanks to some great advice from Garry Marshall. He learned from the best and became a well-respected director, working on Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Baywatch, Star Trek, and so many more.

His latest passion project is an off-Broadway play called “Crazy Mama” written by his wife Sharon Scott Williams. The play deals with mental illness in a humorous way and opens an important conversation for all of us. Crazy Mama opens September 16th at the @59e59 in NYC starring @lindapurl.

Anson has built a fascinating life far beyond the character that made him famous. When I was 12, I begged my Dad to take me to see Happy Days filmed in Hollywood, he did. I have such wonderful memories of that day... My 12-year-old Happy Days loving heart is so happy to see him doing so well.

Special thanks to Harlan Boll @bhbpublicrelations for arranging the interview and to @stillherehwood and @stevekmetko for letting me use their set! Check out @stillherehwood for more celeb interviews.
