gotta trust your book besties 🫶🏼

in an attempt to create ‘to be read’ lists that I am very excited about I asked a few friends to give me recommendations! and I am overwhelmed with how many cool books this has highlighted for 2025. thank you to all the book besties who participated!

I was originally aiming for 12, but this community is just so vast with so many great people with fantastic taste that it became 25!

I hope you find some hidden gems in here too for your 2025 reading :) and also check out all these profiles, they never disappoint with book recs & content!

♥︎ I’ve decided to make three ‘to be reads’ for 2025:

- recs from book besties (seen here)
- books I want to read this year that I already own (aiming for 20-25)
- and lastly, books out next year that I will not be able to not read (aka: Emily Henry’s A Great Big Beautiful Life)

~~ how are you planning your 2025 to be read lists?

shoutout to @bonreviewsbooks who asked me for a recommendation for 2025 and inspired this whole idea! 💘

also because insta has a 20 tag limit here are the remaining tags:

I wanted to spread the love today and say Happy Valentine’s to all you here in the bookish community.

There is someone new here to follow for every book genre! And when I say I wish I could have added so many more I mean it! Love this bookish community.

And as we hug and wish the ones we love a Happy Valentines remember how lucky we are to have a new day before us to even do so. There is a lot of hate in our world and each day we have an opportunity to embrace the cliche and “spread the love”

Also I guess I can only actually tag you to 20 people in a post so if you see your name or even if not say hi and tag an extra valentine
