BIGGER PROJECTS 🌸 Yumi’s Universe

It started with one small act of kindness. When a friend was going through cancer treatment, her friend Yumi brought a Japanese tea ceremony to the hospital. That moment inspired Tess Cacciatore to create Yumi’s Universe, a world of books, films and music that teaches kids harmony, respect, purity and tranquility.

Today Yumi is helping children everywhere grow up with friends around the world, and with kindness for others and themselves. 💛

May peace prevail on earth. 🕊️

You can’t poster your way out of bullying.

Lately, I’ve been seeing anti-bullying efforts and messaging all over #teachergram . And don’t get me wrong, I think the intentions are good.

But IMO, we’re putting too much emphasis on telling kids not to bully and not nearly enough on teaching them how to be kind.

Because kindness is a skill. So is empathy. So is standing up for someone, navigating conflict, taking accountability, and repairing harm. Like any skill, these things need to be modeled, taught, and practiced consistently.

A poster can remind kids to be kind. But it can’t show them what to say when their friends are making fun of someone, how to take responsibility when they’ve hurt someone, or what to do when they witness bullying.

That’s where we come in. Parents, educators, and every adult who plays a role in kids’ lives.

So rather than abandoning anti-bullying week, let’s make it the beginning of something bigger. Here are five ways we can start.

And to go even deeper comment KINDNESS. I’ll send you the link to LearnKind (a completely FREE K-8 kindness curriculum powered by scientific inquiry and social emotional learning) AND the link to FREE parent and educator playbooks from The Choose Kindness Project.

I use these resources in my own home and classroom. They’re game changing and SO much more effective than a few posters and an assembly.

✨ KINDNESS IS THE NEW RICH! ✨💎🦄🌈
You can have the biggest house, the fanciest car, designer watches and millions in the bank… but if your heart lacks kindness, are you truly wealthy?
💎 Real wealth is not what you OWN. It's what you GIVE.
🌟 Inner peace is wealth. 🌟 Compassion is wealth. 🌟 Gratitude is wealth. 🌟 Forgiveness is wealth. 🌟 Lifting others up is wealth. 🌟 Making someone smile is PRICELESS!
Inspired by my mentor and coach, Dr Joe Vitale, I have learnt that gratitude, forgiveness and clearing our inner limitations can transform how we experience life. ✨
The richest people are not always those with the most money. They're the ones who leave others feeling richer in kindness, hope and humanity.
💫 Money can buy luxury, but it cannot buy a genuinely kind heart.
🌍 KINDNESS IS THE NEW RICH. REAL KINDNESS IS THE TRUE WEALTH OF HUMANITY.
🦄 Be kind. Be the change. Expect miracles.

KINDNESS STARTS WITH ME PROJECT IS BACK!🧡

October is National Bullying Prevention Month — and we’re doing our annual kindness projects ALL month long!

Bullying doesn’t discriminate. It happens at all ages, in any setting & to anyone.

That’s why we bring our message to kids, teens, schools, facilities, and staff — focusing primarily on gratitude, empathy & good old-fashioned common courtesy.

Because change starts with YOU.

Kindness starts with ME.🧡

Next Kindness Project: Pinellas County October 13th!

Don’t just think of them. Tell them. 💙

A little encouragement can turn an ordinary day into “I really needed that.”

I created Positivity Juice to make spreading kindness simple. Pick a FREE digital encouragement card, add a personal message, and send it to someone you appreciate.

A friend. Your partner. Someone who always shows up for you.

No special occasion. Just “thought of you.”

Send your free card at positivityjuice.com link in @positivity_juice’s bio.

🤍 PROJECT KINDNESS 🤍

What if kindness became louder than hate?

There’s enough negativity in this world. Let’s start a movement that gives LOVE and KINDNESS the bigger voice.

✨ Spread kindness.
✨ See kindness.
✨ Share kindness.
✨ Let kindness overshadow hate.

Do something kind today — big or small. Then share it, tag someone, and challenge them to keep it going.

Kindness is contagious. Let’s make THIS go viral. 🤍

I’m excited to be attending ADWEEK NYC, October 5–8, representing two organizations—and two missions—that mean a great deal to me: The Talent Magnet and @kindnessorg

For more than 20 years, The Talent Magnet has helped companies identify and secure exceptional leaders across marketing, people, beauty, consumer brands, technology and social impact.

At the same time, my work with kindness.org has reinforced something I deeply believe: kindness is not simply a virtue—it can be a measurable strategy for strengthening cultures, relationships, communities and business outcomes.

I believe that KINDNESS and a COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE can CO-EXIST.

If you’ll be in New York, I’d especially love to connect with:

• CMOs and marketing leaders building brands, transforming organizations or searching for leadership talent capable of creating meaningful growth.

• CHROs and people leaders focused on culture, engagement, retention, leadership and creating workplaces where people can genuinely thrive.

• Executives beginning to consider their next move—even if that move is still six or twelve months away.

• Social-impact, CSR and purpose leaders interested in learning more about kindness.org’s research, programs, corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities—and the measurable impact of embedding KINDNESS into organizations and communities.

Some of the most valuable conversations begin without an agenda. They start with curiosity, a shared interest or simply taking the time to say hello.

If you’re attending and would like to meet, reconnect or explore what we might build together, please reach out.
I’d love to see you IRL!

One Kind Act a Day really works! 💟

•Especially on your hardest days.
•Especially on the days when you’re ready to have a meltdown.

I am here to attest.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

What do you do for self-care when it feels like the walls are closing in and you’re ready to snap? I keep a mental list of 10 things that work. #1 is deep breathing!! For me, #2 is journaling. If I am grounded and “back to center” at that point, then #3 is usually doing a small act of service (sometimes VERY small). But it may take a while to come back down if you have been very frustrated and cortisol levels are elevated. Go through the list until you feel grounded, and then reach out and do that small (even tiny) act of service when you’re ready. It is shocking how it will produce the serotonin to help you feel better. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ya can’t be there for others if you are not okay yourself.

Other ideas to come back to center when you are upset or frustrated:
• somatic exercises
• vagus nerve calming music
• meditation
• walking
• dancing
• stretching
• gentle massage
• quiet activities, such as gardening
• write a letter of gratitude, send it or keep it to yourself.
• star gazing (& listen to crickets chirp!)
• there are dozens more, think of what brings you a sense of calm and pursue it.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
