If I were asked why I do this — why coaching, why athlete development, why pour this much into other people’s kids and their goals. Truth is, I don’t always have the words for it. It’s not just a job to me. It’s something I believe I was made for.
1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I believe coaching is the gift God gave me. And a gift isn’t something you’re supposed to sit on — it’s something you’re supposed to give away. Every rep, every early morning, every hard conversation with an athlete who needs to hear the truth — that’s me trying to be a good steward of what I’ve been handed.
But stewardship isn’t just what I do on the field. It’s who I am off it too. I can’t ask an athlete to trust the process, show up when it’s hard, and keep believing when the results aren’t there yet if I’m not living that out myself. My walk has to match my words. That’s the standard I hold myself to — not because I’m perfect at it, but because I take the assignment seriously.
James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” Coaching has taught me that endurance is the whole game — for me and for every athlete I work with. The wins are great. But what I actually love is watching someone push through the part where they want to quit, and come out the other side different. Stronger. Sure of who they are.
That’s why I do this. Not for the highlight reel. Because I believe this is my calling, and I want my life to reflect that every single day — not just when the cameras are on.
Grateful for every athlete who lets me be part of their journey. Let’s keep building. 🙏🏾

Lord, Thank You for giving me the courage to step into a new season. Thank You for allowing me to return to what You placed on my heart long ago—the calling to coach, mentor, and develop young athletes. Today my heart is full because I am walking in purpose. I am grateful that I get to pour into others, help them grow, and use the gifts You have given me to make a difference in their lives. This only the beginning!

They told me being a boy mom would change my life… and it did. But becoming the mother of a little brown-skinned girl? Whew. That will be an honor, a responsibility, and a kind of love I can’t even put into words yet. 🎀🤎

To my sweet Ryleigh Camille, I already can’t wait to hear your little voice sing “mommy” to me. I pray you grow up knowing you are soft and strong, beautiful and brilliant, and worthy in every room you walk into.

This weekend was nothing short of extraordinary. The outpouring of love for our baby girl overwhelmed me in the best way possible. To every friend, auntie, cousin, planner, decorator, vendor, and family member who poured into this celebration — thank you. To my village, my girl squad, my late-night “we gon figure it out” crew… thank you for the calls, the tears, the planning spirals, the laughter, and for standing beside me through every detail.

And to every person who helped bring my vision to life — y’all showed OUT. 🥹✨ baby… y’all understood the assignment. 💕 BIG MAMA, 2 kids!

If I had to pick one word to describe this year, it would be OBEDIENCE.

I have a deep belief that God speaks through our intuition. And when we’re told to move, no matter how uncomfortable, that means its time to MOVE. We may not know why, we may not have the full picture, but we have to trust that inner knowing.

It’s a journey of faith that often feels lonely. Because only you can see your vision. But what OBEDIENCE has shown me is that we’re far from alone. Angels are all around us, and we are covered, protected, and guided every step of the way 🙏🏾 so grateful.
