I RAN MY FIRST MARATHON Last year, it became one of my goals to run a marathon. I hadn’t even run half of one or shorter distances at the time! Regardless, I started running, training, and meeting the Lord through running. I couldn’t run a half marathon that I signed up for last year because of an injury, but last weekend, I ran my first marathon in 5 hrs and 49 minutes. I’m so grateful to God for giving me the ability to accomplish this goal, and for what He taught me through it. Training for and running a marathon is SO MUCH like training in our walk with Christ and running the race of faith. I truly couldn’t have done it without Him, and I wouldn’t have wanted to. Time and time again, I see how God’s power is made perfect in my weakness. To God be the glory! I have the most incredible support system. Thank you to those who supported me in person or from afar, and by encouraging me and believing in me. I love you. 💕 I am still fundraising for long-term missions through this marathon if you would like to donate! You can do so with the link attached! God bless you!
