Jonah King:
Jonah King's "Honey Fungus" is a 9-minute interactive VR experience led by a queer mycelial guide.
Guided by a queer, sentient mycelial entity, users navigate interactive vignettes where sensory actions shape the environment and AI-generated poetic spores reveal the Earth’s hidden vitality. Rooted in queer ecology and post-humanist thought, the project challenges boundaries between human and non-human life, exploring intimacy, identity, and ecological responsibility. Through VR embodiment, participants shrink through fungal layers, merging with the environment in a radical meditation on relationality, resilience, and stewardship.

🤯 What an amazing day filled with the exchange of art, ideas, and critical matters the creative community is considering. As we discussed different approaches to how creatives engage with AI, it was clear from the day's presentations and our audiences' questions that their research and engagement with this new frontier will be key to shaping our future.

What happens when artists become a network instead of a lineup?

Shared Circuits brings together members of the @newinc LA Chapter for an evening of installations, conversation, and collective energy @wilshireonline. Each work is its own signal—exploring connection across bodies, systems, technologies, and the environments we inhabit. Together, they form a living circuit: ideas moving, crossing, amplifying.

This gathering is less about presentation and more about exchange: an open system where dialogue, performance, and presence activate the space.

Because innovation doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens when current flows between us.
